Good Morning my WLSS family

I know Vick is on the road today and she's usually so kind to kick it off in the morning.  Monday's are my days to film my segment for the WLS News so I've got to go and work on myself to try to be presentable for the camera.  I guess it's called hair and makeup but I'm the one that does it.  I write my script, film it and turn it in.  If I had been told the night before surgery that I would ever be doing anything like this, I would have said you lied!  Don't hold back when you enter this new life.  Try things you've never tried but don't let it get you down if it isn't all you expect it to be.  Just go on to the next thing and enjoy life.  It doesn't have to be a mind blowing experience 24/7 because it just can't be you know?  I see so many WLSers that get to the end of the Honeymoon period and say "NOW WHAT??".  Now you live and be happy and help others that are behind you in their journey because that helps you.

So many people have different definitions of when the Honeymoon period begins.  I hope I never get to the point of saying "Now What?"  and truthfully don't think I will.  I am staying steady for 14 months now.  And I weigh everyday to make sure I do stay steady.  It doesn't work for everyone, but it works for me.  Weighing has become such a normal part of my day and that is why I don't believe I will have to say "Now What?" for a while.  Another thing, is paying it forward.  I am an encouraging force for people that work with me that are going through the WLS.  Right now I have two that have been approved and are awaiting surgery, and one that is awaiting approval.  I make sure they are aware I am there.  I make sure they know I am up all night, so they can feel free to text me with any questions they may come up with.
