WLS Success-through Powerful Positive Attitudes
Gonna share this with you guys
I LOVE that analogy. sweeter than candy!
People laugh often about that nothing tastes as good as being thin. That has surely given me something to think about. I also have to realize that no matter what I eat, the pleasure will be over shortly and if it was bad I will end up beating myself up for so long then I have to eat again to feel better. Repeat cycle....
That's why I really push for people to hang on to that goal weight because I have seen some people beat themselves up more for regain after WLS than anything else. It is the most distressful part of sharing in the WLS community. I see these beautiful souls that lose a bit of the light behind their eyes and they start beating themselves up and start eating or doing other things and I just want to reach out and hug them...and make them feel better...but I don't know how to fix it. I only know to say to try very hard to avoid ever regaining. I don't know why I chose this very moment to get this serious but I've been online with lots of people lately and I guess it just makes me sad sometimes. Thanks for letting me say this.
Enjoy sweet victory and even better...when you learn to celebrate other's victories, you are on your way to success. More about that to follow!! Thanks for sharing this with me.
hugs, Y

awwww you are pretty sweet yourself.
Don't get all stinking thinking - about not being able to help everyone- because that is impossible. We all just do the best we can to encourage and support one another and if we help a few more, inspire a few more- set a fire under a few more-
We will all share in the success! You are terrific! and so was the article about you in OH! congrats.....

Thanks my darling and you just gave me the idea about the question I want to ask the members. I'll start another thread for it but I want to thank you so much for bringing up the stinkin' thinkin' and you're right! And thanks for bringing up the article. I can never remember if I posted it here at all but you can see it here if you didn't get the magazine:
