Who are you!!!

I have noticed that there are now 44 members to this group.  Several of you have introduced yourself but there are many on here that haven't.  So me being the nosy person I am, LOL, am going to call you all out.  Tell us about yourselves!!!

I will go first.  My name is Jenn known as JennD on the board.  I mostly hang out on the TMB but am finding it fun to meet people from all over.  I joined this group because I adore Yvonne and have learned so much from her over the past many months.  I also believe in the power of positive thinking.  Believe it and it will happen!  So about me:
I had RNY 8 months ago and have lost 130lbs.  27 lbs were lost pre op.  I am happily married to a very supportive man.  He is considering surgery himself but has lost over 90 lbs just through diet and exercise since my surgery.  I am an animal lover.  I have 3 dogs, 3 cats, a bird and a frog.  My husband and I bought some land in Kemp, TX and will be moving there in less than a month.  My animal list will be growing considerably once we are out there.  LOL  BTW the name of our ranch is the DCT Ranch which stands for Dreams Come True.  Since WLS I have taken up running.  I am currently training for a half marathon in March at Disney World in Orlando.  I love lifting weights, actually I don't really love lifting weights but I love the definition my muscles get from lifting them.  What else?  I guess if you need to know more you can go to my profile.  I try to update it often with what is new with me.  I urge everyone to jump in ask questions, have fun and get to know each other.  The experience is priceless but it is what you make it.

I'm going to follow Jenn's lead.  I met her at the RYD Obesity Event last year that was put on by RYD! Ramon, Yvonne and Debra.  I 've been a member of Obesity Help since 2001 and had gastric bypass in March of the same year.  I've lost 130 pounds too and I'm also an animal lover with 1 dog and 5 cats.  I want to move to Jenn's ranch already! I'm married to Kevin McCarthy who may be known by people in Dallas as a radio talk show host. I am a musician, photographer and artist and I play around with crafts and lots of other stuff.  Lots of stuff on my profile too!

I want to encourage everyone to not be shy because this is the place where it is safe.  I will do my very very best at protecting each and every one of you.  Jenn promised she would help me do it.  This is a positive place and I don't want anyone to hold back.  Everyone is welcome!
