I started this group not long after my GBS in 2005 because I didnt have anyone for support during my journey. So I wanted to start a support team for others to have during there journey, and a hand full of ladys have turned into about 25 + over the past few years, I love them all and I add new patients every week it seems Im meeting someone at the grocery store at the hospital or someone calling me up asking me to call someone they just met. So I hope to continue this as long as I can and continue to add and grow for my group to have a place to come on a monthly basis to talk and meet with others who have the same problems as we all have dealt with.

11/12/09 Just a little update about me so far its been a while since Ive updated any where just been a busy crazy life for me. But  I am down to 202 last visit 2 weeks ago to the surgeons for my 4 yr check-up. After starting out in 2005 @ 410 I also have had one round of plastics and have a upcoming surgery scheduled in Feb.2010 for the Tummy tuck. Dont let it be told you cant make it or sucseed in whatever your goals maybe. I had to learn late out that I wasnt going to be a skinny girl and it took a lot of adjusting and soul searching but I had to except that where I was and going to be would be were God wanted me healthy and happy with me. So never give up or go back, it's hard but it's well worth the fight and determination to go forward no matter where you end up! :)
