Losing Weight

I had my lapband Realize surgery on August 15, 2009 and have not lost NO weight.  I had my surgery done out of the states so my support is thin.  Anyways I just had my 3rd adjustment yesterday and now I actually fill restriction.  My band holds 10cc's instead of 4cc's and my surgeon had told me that it takes several adjustments before it starts to restrict.  I have been very, very patience and now I want some RESULTS...  I've started doing a journal today.  My fill doctor says that I'm eating way to many sugary drinks like tea, etc.  but I've had no soda's.  He says that is considered calorie-liquid intake.  So I am focusing on sugar free or water drinks.  I need a support group to be with me in the journey that I have decided to take.  My goal is to start exercising & watch the weight come off.

I had my lapband surgery in Sept. 2009 and the weight loss has been very slow.  I am not at all happy with myself.  I recently received a treadmill as a birthday gift from my husband so I am hoping for some better results.  I felt restriction when I first came out of surgery and they had to remove some of the fluid due to complications with breathing.  I have had my 4th fill and it was like pulling a tooth the nurse practioner did not want to give me a fill like it was her decision.  I was tolded that if i find myself hungry and able to eat more than 4 ounces of food that i should make my way back for a fill and soon as I get there she starts giving me grief that its all in my head and i need to train my mind.  I never was opposed with food to the point of just eating anything not moving .  I was just trying to follow protocol.  Not sure what to eat most of the time so I find myself very hungry and just doing with out. please help

Yes, the doctor that did my fill explained to me that it was all in my head too.
I'm not sure what to eat either but protein.
thanks

I would like to encourage the both of you to not give up on your goals.  I can remember back when I had my Lap Band Surgery 1/31/2008, I felt like I couldn't see any results as quickly as I thought I should.  It doesn't happen as fast as the Gastric Bypass Surgery so don't look for it to.  The Dr. was right though, you shouldn't intake so much sugary calories.  I had alot of sugar free drinks.  I too have a 10 cc band and it is now 4 cc in my band after almost 2 years post op.  I have lost a total of 138 lbs.  I do believe that another thing that is true is that it is all in your head.  Be encouraged and if you have any questions you guys can email me at [email protected].

Good luck ladies.
