Not much here today either. Jury duty is over. Whew! Almost had to go back today. I was one of 10 potential jurors instructed to report today, but literally while the judge was dismissing the other members of the jury pool the attorneys walked back into the courtroom to tell the judge they had selected the two alternates. Voila! I was excused.
210.9 - exactly the same as yesterday.
I got some nice and emotional personal messages on FB last night after posting my pics and a bit about my journey - mostly from people feeling shame for being on or considering being on a GLP1 medication and thanking me for being open.
Lakeland Terrier puppies have been born. 5 boys, 1 girl... Which means probably no girl puppy for me! Booooo, but I will be more than happy with a little boy, I think!
Can't "like" this post, but want to acknowledge that I hear your concern and frustration. I don't know what you mean that the situation was worse and no biopsy was possible, but that doesn't sound "good". Your DD is in my thoughts and prayers! Fingers crossed.

Blowing like stink today as my dad says! One of my new trees blew over, of course. Because nothing is easy.
I took a birthday plant and card over to my friend's this morning. She invited me to dinner with her family tonight at a great restaurant. Right now I am getting a full sniff-down from Kirby as I saw his girlfriend there. Makes it hard to type. Her dad opened a door to look outside and the wind blew a glass piece off her table to shatter on the floor. So the visit included participating in glass clean up...
I think I will continue with the office clean up today. i forgot my shot yesterday, so need to go do that too.
Take care, friends! (My typo turned that into "take credit, friends!" so do that too as autocorrect commands it!)
So now I am starting to freak out about my DD. Apparently the situation was worse and no biopsy was possible today. And all more painful for DD. Awakening so many fears partially fueled by history. The doctor did throw out the possibility of trying the procedure in an OR vs her office next time so more can be done (and DD can be anesthetized). I think DD will ask for that. My gut tells me this doctor has it in her head that she needs to preserve DD's fertility but DD doesn't want children. She needs to be adamant with her doctor but why don't they listen to women? I feel like my niece was not treated aggressively enough at first with her breast cancer for the same reason even though my niece had stressed that getting rid of the cancer trumped her desire to have another child and she had already accepted it. Just so frustrating to be a woman and not be listened to!
Off my soapbox now. But I am getting very concerned.

Another pretty day here, although about 10 degrees cooler than yesterday. Same tomorrow, but a little warmer.
And that's absolutely ALL I have to report--except that I stayed up all night long reading the internet. Didn't get a lick of sleep. (I do this sometimes.) I'm still not through with the internet, so when I finish I'll let you know what's going on out there. ;-]
P.S. I feel a little guilty when I don't post anything, so that's why you got this nada post today.

I've actually never been on a jury or even been called for jury duty when I wasn't working 80-100 hours/week doing things no one else could do but me.
At one point I thought I'd like to be on a grand jury (especially a federal grand jury) and still might like to do that. But NOT if I had to drive an hour and 40 minutes both ways to do it!

Worried about my daughter today - she said the biopsy was quite painful last week so is dreading it even more since she knows what is involved. Brings back memories of the horrific procedures eldest DD had to endure. It will be at least 5 days before she gets results again but hopefully they will be able to determine what it is (or maybe more importantly what it isn't).
We stunk at our last day of bocce yesterday but had fun. One of our group tried to sign 6 couples including us up for the Spring Fllng dinner dance at the Beach Club in April. It is the best attended event of the year. She was on right at 9 when signup opened up and got kicked out of the system, then it said it was full when she tried to get back in. She attempted to call the concierge but when she couldn't get through drove down to see her in person. So we are on the waitlist. Lots of stores from others who had the same experience. Such frustration! Like the COVID vaccine signup in the early days. They told her there should be no problem getting us off the waitlist but we shall see. I need to get on at 9 today and try to do the same for the Easter brunch but just for the 2 of us. Hopefully not as frustrating an experience.
The weather is supposed to be gorgeous today so probably Beach Club followed by practicing golf. I am bringing a friend as a guest to golf next week and she is nervous so she wants to practice a few times.
Time to check in with DD before she goes, then walk Justice. Have a thick Thursday!

I deleted the other note because I was going to say that I thought a woman here had survivor benefits but had remarried before age 60 but that wasn't the case. Weird distinction. I guess it used to be that anytime you remarried you lost survivor benefits but they changed it at some point.
Your scale has been snickering - you do know that right?

Definitely a book club to be sustained by! Mine is too large to be able to delve too deeply in discussion but good for meeting new people.
