Greetings all
Another mixed cloudy day. I fixed poached eggs and then spent time reviewing the latest communication in our gallery lease negotiations. This person has made everything unduly complicated and is inserting concepts that do not belong in a legal document. Drives me nuts. Getting close on the numbers but now need to get rid of the other nonsense. As usual I overthink everything and need to just get 'er done.
Went to the gym which was decidedly dull. No peculiar people to observe. But I now burn a full 50 calories in my walking. Whoo hoo, that is not even half a donut. After that I went to the studio and made some new stuff.
We are now in Season 2 of The Tourist. Complete change of scenery but still a quirky compelling story. DH loves it and there are no exploding time traveling aliens.
Yay Paula on packed bags. Enjoy.
Hmm Liz, the fancy restaurant sounds overrated. I think those of us that eat smaller portions become pickier about what it is and how it tastes. Nothing bad about that! And nice atmosphere counts for a lot.
Stay warm all you midwesterners. Predictions sound bad. But Paula I suspect you secretly love it when the weather is bad at home and you are in the tropics. I know I did when we lived in Nebraska. Hoping it snowed while we were somewhere else.
CC I hear you on being embarrassed for someone else when they behave in a peculiar way. Not so much dancing for me but more like making a scene over something stupid. Glad the music was good.
The little Florida eaglets are not so little. They look like plucked chickens now. Eating like little pigs.
Not much else. Cheers. Diane S
I think the GLP 1 meds will continue to be approved for various conditions (alcohol and drug addictions, ADHD, inflammatory diseases etc.) These medications are the closest thing to a miracle drug since Statin**** the market!
Very! But who knows if insurance companies will cover it for that.

Sedona is phenomenal and so different from other places. But Maui is amazing as well. Do you leave tomorrow?
Almost under 140: Good for you!

Those were weird dreams! I'm afraid I am one of the old folks who like to dance (though I am not a groupie).
We have a wedding in Scottsdale on 10/18 so we will probably go to Sedona prior to that since it is one of our favorite places. No balloon ride for me - I am petrified of heights.

140.4, the 130's are getting closer!
Today is DH's and my 5th wedding anniversary! To be honest, with scans, taking down Christmas decorations and readying for our trip, the date escaped me until DH wished me a happy anniversary this morning! We plan on celebrating in Maui anyway!
Speaking of Maui, (cue music) "All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go". Spent yesterday evening trying on warm weather clothes and packing my bag! I downloaded some movies onto my phone for the long flights and dug up all the headphones we have from ones that plug into the plane's jack to ones that plug into the phone to wireless. Should be prepared for whatever we need!
Very cold again today. I think I'll just stay inside. I made the chili yesterday, I lied that I would be good for one bowl. I could only eat about 1/2 of it before the thought of another bite sounded nauseating! Tonight will be chicken enchiladas with a green sauce. Should go down better!
I'm thinking that I won't track calories and macros while on vacation. I certainly won't be getting weights while there unless the condo has a scale! I'll just eat what I want when I'm hungry and try not to worry about it all! I'm a bit envious of those of you who didn't do all the tracking this time around but know that my success probably depended on it!
Liz, a Sedona vacation sounds grand! One of my bucket list places!

A weird dream night... I dreamt most of the hair fell out on the top of my head, a separate dream that my whole body was gaunt looking, and other assorted unsettling dreams I know I had but can't remember now.
Yesterday I went to an art opening for my friend. They had a band there that was really good, but they had about a dozen groupies who clearly follow them were in their 60s and 70s dancing around them. I do not have a nano-drop of that impulse to "dance like no one is watching" in me, so that just makes me embarrassed on their behalf. Secondary Contact embarrassment... They were having fun though and I should just mind my own business!
I think I will work on some decluttering today. The Christmas decorations are all boxed up and put away except for the darned giant tree. I need to finish that job. That's one of my odd quirks. Doing 90% of a project and not being able to cross the finish line.
Liz, how fun you're coming back to Sedona in October! For anything other than fun? You should think about a balloon ride. This company is apparently the best: https://redrockballoons.com
I hope everyone has a great day!
