Liz your scale feedback is enviable! I also think it's a great reminder that your commitment to daily activity such as your morning walk with Justice can pay big dividends. I think I've shared before a quote from one of my wise mentors, exercise is the mortgage you pay for a good life.
We got home around 12:30 am, and I slept in big time. I did cancel my infusion appointment for this afternoon for the bone medication. Its more common than not that people get flu like symptoms after the infusion. It makes sense since they are giving you a years worth of meds in one infusion. I'm feeling so much better, but I'm still conjested and coughing, so taxing my immune system some more seemed like a bad idea.
I got caught up on emails and will need to work over the weekend on paperwork and some grading. I've been away for so many days with sick days before vacation, and then the vacation itself. It's okay, I can really see the end is in sight, and these types of tasks will be history in June. It will make the week go better if I return with a few things all ready done.
We managed to miss the polar vortex, and now we are in reward up portion. The high on Sunday is predicted to be 45, which is a lot warmer than the -30 windchill on Tuesday! The sun is out today too, which makes it more cheerful.
I just took my Wegovy shot. I skipped the week when I was sick because I thought it would do me good to eat more. The prednisone also cranks up the appetite, so Wednesday, day 11 since a shot, was pretty impressive in terms of food volume! I tried to use the extra appetite to eat more protein. I weighed myself this morning, and I am still in my range, but at the higher end. All in all, I'm satisfied with my decisions and the outcome.
Wow Liz, that new scale sounds fabulous and your numbers are rockin?! So glad you had a great day out golfing with the ladies and hurray that at least 2 of your shots were the best ball during your scramble! Love the image of the other women being your cheerleaders. That?s how I feel about this group of friends!
130.5. Goal weight is still eluding me by just a bit! It will be here soon enough and staying in a given range I think can be more stressful than getting there! Not sure how much longer I will continue to track everything but it will continue until I can figure out what my maintaining consumption should be vs. losing consumption. I think I have a really low BMR like Diane S! Probably due to a lifetime of yo-yo dieting!
I made my consult appointment with the plastic surgeon for mid March. Don?t plan on doing anything until at least September. I want to be able to enjoy the summer here in WI!
Today has mostly been about household chores, laundry, dishes etc. DC1 is here again, they think they will return to work next week Tuesday (Sunday and Monday are their normal days off). Tonight we have a wedding reception to attend (a former coworker got married in Vegas). It will be nice to see my old work crew. It starts at 4:00, which seems early. There will be heavy appetizers instead of a meal (which I?m very fine with) and I guess dancing because they asked for any music requests with the RSVP. No clue how people are going to dress. I?m wearing a leather skirt, tank with cardigan and my knee high boots. Not super dressy but fashionable.

Funnily enough, they are anxious to get home. It's a lot of togetherness with an adult child in the same house. and being away from home, you start to miss your routines. I know I do when I go there. And he wants to play with his snow plow tractor!
118.8 (official weight for the week). From the new scale: Body fat 25%, skeletal muscle mass 43%, BMR 1235 cal, metabolic age 63. Since I am turning 70 in 3 weeks, I like that last fact! I think these numbers are actually pretty good.
Golf yesterday was quite fun. Best group of ladies so far! Like having helpful cheerleaders. It was a scramble and I actually had the best ball a couple of times. I do think the new clubs help. One of the women suggested that we play with another friend who is just starting out but is very nervous to play with other people. Like I have been but am starting to get past. I'd like that. I will be playing with DH on Sunday but there is no competition when we do that and he has been feeling guilty about the other day anyway so I don't think there will be a repeat of that.
Today I have yoga at 10, then nothing specific planned. It is still a bit cool (low 60's) but if the sun comes out it should warm up to a decent level. We may go to the art museum to see the French Modern exhibit (Monet to Matisse 1850-1950). DH hasn't seen the Robert Farber exhibit yet either (fashion photographer, etc).
Have a forward Friday!

Sounds like your folks should consider staying for a bit longer? At least until the cold and snow start to abate somewhat?
I don't miss the winter at all! Our taste of it in Albany early last month convinced me that I don't want to be north in the winter at all anymore if I can avoid it.

My car was supposed to come today, but it needed a 5 hour software update, so it will come tomorrow.
Instead, we went for breakfast at a local restaurant my folks love. With my first 15mg dose on board I could hardly eat anything. I haven't felt this much effect in a very long time. I didn't even think of eating the rest of the day until 5. We had salads for dinner, but I felt a little sickened by the dressing about 2/3rds through. Crazy what a difference a dose can make.
After a grocery stop, Claudia and I cleaned half the garage to make room for the new car. Then I put together the new totem, repaired a bunch of irrigation lines Kirby chewed through, vacuumed, and called my insurance company.
One more day until my folks head back to the chilly north. They've gotten so much snow this winter and still have a lot of winter ahead. Here, winter this year lasted 2 days. It's going to be in the 70s next week (90s in Phoenix). I wish we could share some warmth with Mi in exchange for some winter weather!
Take care all!

Speedy healing wishes for you, my friend!
I suppose it would work on a scorpion, but those deserve to die under a shoe or in a puddle of insecticidal murder juice! Lizards I don't want to hurt, I just want them to live outside!
My mother said the same thing about the psychedelic lights! She loved the resulting improved vision. And yes as DD asked, how are the hands?
