Power washers are definitely addictive. Feels good to have the outside furniture ready for the summer doesn't it?

YUCK to humidity! I'm a dry heat boy.

I had everything planned out in my head before I started. Only took me about about an hour to fold and pack everything. Threw the final stuff in this morning. Believe it or not, we went with one large suitcase between us and carry on duffle bags for each of us. Not bad for an 18 day trip, right? Okay, the suitcase did weigh 56 pounds...

We are currently 30,000 feet over Greenland!

No kayaking for us yet either! Maybe after the 14th.

I would be happy in Arizona. I don't mind 90 in the shade, even with humidity, I bet it felt great there!

It's terrifying what is happening in LA. Lord have mercy. But again, I think the scene in St. Paul will be different, and it's a nationwide rally, so hard to focus suppressive actions on any one site. The brave ones will be elsewhere, and I pray for them.

I snuck up on myself for another project and managed to get my bed dismantled, the old giant rug rolled up, and the new one made of those carpet tiles put in place! It took me 6 hours and I am wiped out. That mattress weighs a ton! And lots of working in stages. Roll the rug one way, put half the rug down, roll it the other way... I'm happy with how it turned out.

You might be happy in AZ, DD. It was 95 today and the threat of monsoon thunderstorms this evening. I actually sat outside in the shade during a few of my breaks and it wasn't unpleasant.

Tomorrow is a workman day. I'm getting my a/c serviced before summer and the blinds guy is coming to change out the one bum motor. I need to put painters tape on the floor to mark where the sectional goes so they get it back in the right place. It's too big for me to move alone.

I think that's it. Need to go rustle up some dinner. Take care all. Can't wait to hear about Pep's trip. Such a guy. Imagine how much we women would have talked about the packing process. And he just seemed to do it with no fretting!

124.1. Holding steady!

Busy weekend with all the kids home!

We celebrated a belated birthday celebration for DC1 last night. Very good restaurant, very expensive bill!

Took pictures for DS2 and his friend yesterday. They are big into cosplay and wanted professional pics for their instagram accounts. They had me make a Tik Tok video with them so now I'm TikTok famous. Lol!

Went to church and then this afternoon/early evening we went to a concert with our good friends. A one man show with lots of audience participation. It was really fun!
