219.4... Liz, our bodies are in sync! Yet again, precisely 100 pounds above you! LOL
Buster got a good grooming yesterday and looks pretty spiffy. After that another great workout. And once home, I cooked a magnificent dinner of thin cut rib eyes, roasted new Yukon Gold potatoes, and a nice chopped salad. Sometimes a good workout is really energizing.
I should probably stop looking at retirement locations. I found two "perfect" options, but still in California; two hours northeast of me. I'm not so sure staying in CA is the best idea. But one I could pretty much buy outright once I sell my current home and the property taxes would be lower. I kind of like that. Best is that it's on 3 acres and I could get a kennel license so my dogs would be a non issue. Whoo hooo! But, I'm not ready to do anything yet... so, it's a little frustrating to find a really good place and not being able to jump on it.
No dog shows this weekend. I'm looking forward to staying home this weekend. Not much else going on... Just waiting for 2 pm to start my weekend.
150.8, I liked the 140's better.
DH working all weekend so I pretty much have the house to myself. I think today will be balancing the checkbooks, maybe entering in my business expenses/income to my spreadsheet and then if I am super motivated, a little basement cleanup......or I could just take a nap with the dogs! Lol!
Dinner with friends last night was fun, we always have good conversation with them. They are actually DS2's ex's parents that we became friends with!
DSD and fiancé will be coming here again next weekend. We are going to see Murr from Impractical Jokers (a tv show) at our local comedy club on Saturday night. They may need to head back to ND for a few days before returning for Thanksgiving. Tis the season for busyness! I should put the Christmas tree up but they bring their cat when they visit and I'm not sure I want to deal with the cat in the tree!
Liz, your dinner last night sounds awesome! Glad your lady friend's found each other and can be travel partners!
I think your title must be commensurate with your role and reputation: "My Queen"!

TLDR - $75K in 2010 (when that study was done) is now about $110K.
Bad news: Money matters. A much newer, better designed study finds that beyond that level most (but not all) folks get even happier.
And as with all things, it's complicated.

119.4 - official recorded weight for the week. I was a bit surprised as we did have the wine dinner last night with multiple courses. I only ate part of each course though.
Speaking of the Spanish wine dinner, it was so much fun. We get all dressed up in ****tail dresses and suit coats. The tables have fancy linens and amazing crystal candelabras. The food is delivered with a flourish, the chef comes to each table and talks about how he prepared it, and the wine representative talks about the wine paired with that course. We were at a table of 8 with people who we know fairly well. Nice night though expensive especially since we ordered a case of wine. Half the case is a sparkling cava which is a bubbling rose which was more like champagne than Prosecco with very gentle bubbles. Luckily that wine is relatively inexpensive. We plan to serve it at Thanksgiving.
One of the women at our table is a relatively recent widow and another woman with us has a partner who travels a lot for business. They started talking about doing some trips together. Very nice for the both of them.
Today is a more focused day. First priority is the long walk which I missed yesterday because of golf lessons. We have a meeting with my financial advisor mid-morning, then our regular monthly meeting to split expenses. I may feel poor again by mid-day LOL.
Time to get motivated. Have a filling Friday!

I love the title! I think you should try it for sure! Sure beats Granny or Old Broad!
I took the dose this morning and will take the next dose Sunday night.
