A few years ago, we climbed to the top of a pyramid outside of Mexico City. Very arduous. While we were admiring the view, a man came and asked us how old we were (58 and 59 at the time). He said I'm 60, I've asked everyone up here and we're the oldest. I felt so proud that I managed that climb, but DH looked at me and said, Why did that guy think I was 60? Umm, because you basically are? I guess DH was still feeling in his 20s too.
Yeah, I look at pictures of my old classmates and think they are older than me. Not so! As my mother once said, in my head I am in my late 20's (LOL).

Liz, you tell Mike thanks for the compliment! Much appreciated. I'm also roughly 10 years his junior and there is something to that - especially since I have been working out (even when super heavy) for over 10 years.
Slight uptick in weight. Back into the 205 range the last two days.
Majorly busy with doggy grooming before our regional specialties. I leave tonight for 4 days of shows. I'm already planning that I might have to take next Tuesday off to get my taxes finalized and submitted. Aw, shucks.... Have I mentioned that Tuesdays are my least favorite day of the school week?
I'm going to take my shot a day early so I don't have to deal with taking it with me. I've never done that before, but the directions say it's okay.
Yesterday one of my classes was on a field trip, so I had a break before my lunch period. I ran to Starbucks for a coffee. The Starbuck's is next to a very large retirement community (small town size about 4,000 residents...). There were all these OLD people milling about. I thought, "Oh, no.... that's me next year! " It was kind of funny. I didn't want to lump myself in with the OLD people.
34 work days remaining after today is completed. DAMN, that seems like nothing!
Greetings all
Another great sunny day and no wind. On my second cup which is unusual for me. Time to get moving and out and about to catch up on a few things before eye day tomorrow.
Wow Ocean Diane. Pollen so heavy that furniture must be covered! That is a lot. And we used to call it "screened in porch". My grandparents were southerners. I remember a ringer washing machine on the screened in back porch. So you have a Ma Jong shark! Makes for exciting games. Any paddling yet?
Well Liz, Mike will just have to get new golf shorts. Isn't it annoying how fast men can lose weight? And yeah it's always at the crack of dawn that trades people run noisy machines.
Bungee workout Paula. Messing with electronics sounds only slightly more fun. But either is a win win.
Gonna try and walk today since I will miss a few. Leftovers for dinner tonight. Tomorrow I abdicate all dinner responsibility and will send DH to the hippie deli or the taco truck.
House is clean. Life is good.

We can't put outside furniture out on Cape Cod until after mid-June. Too much pollen until then!

125.4. New low this time losing. Will try to get in more calories! I have to sit on a ****yx cushion now due to my boney butt! Need to do some step exercises to build up those butt muscles! My friend and I are going to sign up for the bungee exercise class but not until June since she is needing fibroid surgery.
I got all dressed for a workout and actually started the warmup but the dogs were barking like crazy so I came upstairs and I had a delivery that I needed to sign for! Now I will be installing my new photo printer instead of doing a workout. Oh darn!
I think DH and I will go out for dinner tonight. Either our favorite coffee shop or favorite wood grilled pizza place! His choice!
Happy that DH is doing so well on his new WW plan Liz! As we know, he will feel so much better. I know I do!
Nice to see you Ocean Diane! Sounds like Spring has sprung in your neck of the woods! We have at least another month, though will get a few nice days here and there!
Oh! I love the spy story! Give extra credit to anyone who will actually write it up for you to keep!
It is a ridiculous premise! 1 out of 5 of the couples actually got married! I do like the idea of falling in love based on emotions, conversations, connection instead of just physical attraction though.
I'm glad WW is working for DH, Liz. I can't believe it is time for you to head north again ! DD & Peps, I'm counting down those final days with you two ! You will just LOVE being retired. Diane, I think of you and your Scrabble every week when I play Mahjongg. We have a shark too, and she was biting last night ! CC, your planting and outdoor furniture are motivating me. I have taken down the sheers on my lanai (meets the definition and sounds much more southern than "screened room") and after 2 years and significant washings and hours in the sun, am replacing them. My furniture is still covered to escape the pollen, but I also pulled the rug up and will wash down the screens, covers, and floor before putting things back together.

DH lost another 3.4 pounds last week. He is doing well on his WW program. He said part of his losing motivation is not wanting to have to buy new clothes. But his golf shorts may get too big and he doesn't have smaller sizes in them unlike his casual clothes. Peps most recent TT picture made him feel that he has to work harder - he said he will never look as buff as Peps.
Cool this morning: low 60's which we haven't seen for more than a month. Water aerobics will be a *****illy when we are partially out of the water. Today I may poke around some furniture consignment shops while DH is golfing. We are meeting friends from Cape Cod for dinner tonight.
Weather predictions for Spring Cleanup weekend on Cape Cod are terrible: rainy and low 40's. I'd love to skip it but I know DH would be unhappy if I did even though he wouldn't say anything. Unfortunately April and May on Cape Cod are frequently like that (a little warmer in May). That's why we aren't returning for the summer until May 25.
Noisy renovations going on next door. They started sawing stuff outside at 7 am. I think there is a rule that limits hours for that kind of thing but the rules are kept in scanned documents so I can't search for anything and can't find it otherwise. That's one thing my prior association did well - keeping rule documents up-to-date and accessible. Not so this one.
Time to get laundry in and get changed to take DH to golf. I will walk Justice after water aerobics (DH already took him for a short one).
Have a wholesome Wednesday!
