I'm sure puppies for Christmas would have been a lot of work but also a lovely gift.
You must really want to have a weight beginning with 1! 119 for you again!

I have stockings for decoration here too. I also need to mull over what to do about stockings this year.

Work was fine today. We have started a research project in English 9, and it is always a messy business to get them started. And then miraculously, it comes together, and they have persuasive presentations with a thesis statement and supporting evidence. But right now we're in the sausage making part of this, they get frustrated. And that's where the learning is taking place. I both dread and look forward to this unit. And they should stop complaining :). The platform they use to make their electronic note cards GENERATES the citation for them. Remember doing those by hand? I had over a 100 sources for my master's thesis, and I created every one of them, while using my APA style book.
We went to see the movie Conclave this evening. Many twists and turns. Ralph Fiennes and Stanley Tucci were stellar as always. Also fun to see all the theater and dance kids swooning over Wicked in the lobby. We will see that later when the big rush settles down.
My Mom fell today, and had to be taken to the hospital for a CT scan. The paramedics had to be called, because my Dad and brother couldn't lift her. She just can't help, so it's dead weight, and she can't get her legs under her. The paramedics wanted her checked out since she hit her head, and she's on blood thinners. I think that was a good call. I don't know if she's home yet. My brother said he's moving back in for awhile because my parents are fighting and yelling. They can't cope anymore, but still refuse help, unless it's family, and even that is sometimes accepted grudgingly. I again thanked my brother, told him I couldn't do what he is doing, and this can't be a long term solution for him either.
Tomorrow, hopefully operation clean a few more things that we didn't get to last week, cause I ran out of steam, followed by operation decorate. But first coffee at our place.
Sorry about the puppies, but as you say, a mixed blessing. And yeah for closet shopping surprise and finding a "new" suit!
Still so impressed with your consistency with the demanding treadmill!
Greetings all
The cyclone seems to have passed. It was mostly sunny today but some clouds. Not sure if there will be more. Most likely.
So I went to the studio and made some stuff and had a meeting about bonuses. Came up with some stuff thought I am expecting some board members to ***** Oh well. So it goes.
Yikes Liz so scary about DH pacemaker alert and yet glad it's there and working. Let us know what they decide. Electronics are truly amazing these days. Diagnosed my DH with his afib, Hoping it's nothing serious. And sounds like you are getting into golf! More fun if you understand rules and customs.
After the studio I went tot he gym and did walking. Have not seem my horse friend lately. DH took the dogs on a walk so it's good he got out of the house. He also went out to lunch and brought home fish and chips which is dinner tonight.
Fettuccini Paula! My favorite. Costco has a pretty good chicken one that has lots of chicken. Enoy. Still have snow?
We Peps, size matters. LOL. More than weight. What fits and what doesn't is the real thing. Glad you are pleased which what fits. Sorry for no puppies.
Football tomorrow and will try to do gym. Exercise, unlike other chores, is never done. At least when I get groceries or do laundry it is done for 3 or 4 days. Not the treadmill; always there and always demanding....

Liz, please update us when you have more info about DH. I would be concerned too. Sounds like the pacemaker is doing it's job!
My kids have stockings made by my mother. I couldn't replicate them exactly, but I made one identical size, complimentary fabric, and quilted it for DS's serious girlfriend. She did not have contact with her family, and spent all holidays with us while dating DS, and I didn't want her to feel left out. They broke up, but I still have the stocking. Should I pick off the embroidery of her name, and replace with the new girlfriend's name? Kidding, I would never.
One of my friends also bought new stockings for the blended family. She hangs them all on a stair railing. Not sure what she has done for the new wives and new grandson.
