Your DH is newly retired so he may get to a point where he eases into the day more slowly too with time. My DH has to have a "plan" for every day but we generally don't make it until during our Justice walk.

That darn shark! I'm glad your guest bedroom is cleared so now you can get it ready for company. Hopefully your DH didn't stash stuff elsewhere to be stumbled upon later.

My DSD struggles with thyroid issues as well and also has a tough time getting the dosage right. It took her a long time to find a physician who she felt was skilled at it and she refuses to see anyone else. Even when she lived elsewhere she would travel back to the northeast for her appointments with him.

You are leaving tomorrow! I bet Kirby will be happy with the cooler atmosphere there.

Yes, the same facelift. I still think it is helping my face though it has been 8 years since I did it. My jowls are getting a bit soft, but I'm not sure I will do it again. I had my face and my tummy tuck done at the same time.

And what is wrong with that daily flow? Very similar to DH and my day other than the Justice walk and exercise in the mid to late morning.

Some of the restaurants shut down between meals but the stores are open all day. I don't mind eating later but I can't stop waking up when it is light out and have never been good at napping. I may have to try to nap tomorrow because the wedding doesn't start until 7:30 pm and the first bus back to the hotel is at 2 am. I think we have to be up and out fairly early the next day too as we will be be traveling to Barcelona that day.

I am glad you returned to such nice weather. Now you can really feel retired.

That's a lot of bathroom cleaning for 2 people, but yep, even with 2 people (and of course visitors) all the bathrooms seem to get used and therefore need to be cleaned.

The only party going on in our garage is me celebrating that my stall is still cleaned out enough that I can park my car in there! No room for TVs, open lawn chairs or Vikings parties. We need to store old toys, bikes, and lots of cans of mystery paint.

RE: the endless washing. My daughter used a service where you filled a provided bag with laundry, texted them and left the bag at the front door, and then it was returned all washed and folded. She paid $60 in Boston. It wasn't a scheduled service. She could order service as she needed it. Since she had to Uber to a laundry mat, and pay for the machines, it was pretty cost effective for her, and a time saver. Could be a nice time saver for you?

Ugh, thyroid treatment is such a moving target. Do you think the need for a change of dosage has impacted your progress on Zepbound?

Doing a facelift first makes perfect sense to me. It's the public part of you that everyone sees. Also, if you are still losing weight, it's not time for the tummy tuck yet. So new year, newly refreshed face! Congratulations on moving forward on your vision of your best life.
