Still 11 pounds down! With as much as I am sweating today I may make my 12 lbs. in my first month! I worked our church garden this morning and then DH and loaded up the cars with art fair stuff. Will have to set up tent and hang pictures later afternoon, early evening. It is hot and humid here and will be even more so tomorrow! That's WI for you!

We had our date night last night too. I got tuna guacamole which is just guac with chopped raw tuna on top (put together with a mold) and then soy sauce over the whole thing. They serve it with sweet potato chips and you just scoop it up with the chips and eat! Super yummy! We won't get done setting up for the art fair until 6 or 7 so it will be Jimmy John's on the way home. A little John was the perfect size for me before starting the meds. We'll see if I can eat it all now. Probably can.

Hope you all are enjoying your weekend!

lol about the boob conversations! If I remember right Peps enjoyed the boob conversations when Shel was here. She had a double mastectomy and needed to buy new boobs for her swim suit. Pep's got a kick out of going out and buying boobs!

Beautiful ship view!

Yes, poor Peps! Boobs, periods, menopause... I was going to do arms and boobs after my body lift/legs, but you all know how that first part went. So I have a very saggy upper half. My arms bother me way more than my chest.

Feeling a cleaning bug today. I did the stove grates last night. My folks used my kitchen this winter while theirs was being remodeled and while they cleaned the stainless part of the stove, the cast iron grates were sticky. Today I'm working on bathrooms and washing/changing sheets and towels. Vacuuming as usual. I did it yesterday and can see the tumbleweeds already.

Feeling so much better today having slept well. It's warm out - closer to 80 later I think.

Scale was 190.4 this morning. Maybe the 180s will be visible in the next few weeks.

I think that's all. Going to dry my hair, then start vacuuming. Take care and have a great day!

Great date night last night. We went to a restaurant on the water in Woods Hole, a little village tucked away in a corner of this part of the Cape and sat at a table next to the open windows (pictures from our table below). There is no AC in this old building but no need for it with the sea breeze. Afterwards we stopped at a bar just down the street from my home and listened to a band whose lead singer is from my former town and used to play soccer with DD. We have seen the group before but she has improved so much, mainly because she has more confidence in her voice. Fun time.

Now that I am in goal weight range, I tried on the dress for my daughter's wedding which I had bought small. It fits! I was afraid it would be too big and I would need to have it altered. What a relief!

Lots of amusing comments on boobs and their complications yesterday (sorry Peps). As my mother said in her last days "There were so many things in life that you just had to laugh at".

Today I return to fretting about getting the cupola painted - a friend who does odd jobs is supposed to do it this weekend but it is rainy today. I hope it is dry enough tomorrow. It is the last thing out of my control that needs to be done to the house before the pictures are taken on Tuesday. The landscapers were supposed to mulch today but they did it yesterday because of the forecast. I sent the owner a note because I was so appreciative.

Not much in the plans for today due to the rain, but I am going to dinner with the "girls" (eldest DD, SILs, and possibly niece).

Have a sedulous Saturday!

Ouch, Phyllis, the truth hurts, donnut? I'm good with the band, and like side and back smoothing makes, but can't quite figure out the cup sizeing- hard to fill out the top of the cup. Have tried moving down to a B and increasing the band size- no good. Have heard that increasing the cup size while decreasing the band size sometimes works...Big mystery

I simply deflate, moving from melons(too big) to muffins and finally now, raisin cookies. Ahhh, well.

The sun is starting to set, and its been a busy day! Drove my 1.25 hours there and back for my hair. When I got home, I was in the house about 15 minutes and then we left to pick up BFF to go to her grandsons 6th birthday party. Its 8:45 pm, and I am back home, sitting on the porch, drinking a protein shake.

I have to say I take some comfort in other people also having trouble with their boobs. And I hate bra shopping, it's worse than swimsuit shopping. I also need to wear a smaller band size if I want them hoisted higher, but I don't want to. So there. Phyllis Diller quote: I don't have my boobs anymore, but I still have the bags they came in.

Greetings all

Another lovely day here in lala land. DH took both the dogs for walks even though he just had veins sealed in one leg. It's good to see him moving around again. The heart episode scared him I think. He is very much a creature of habit so once he starts doing something he does it day in and day out. Walks. Or cheese puffs.

Spent some time at the studio today glazing. Water will be out tomorrow for 3 days due to sewer line replacement. I had some large bottles of drinking water in the garage from some long ago emergency issue which were unopened so I took them to studio in case someone needs drinking water. We will have some buckets of water available plus hose on adjoining property. Might be a good time to stay away but I have lots to do!

I planned a store trip today but bugged out. We have enough to eat.

Hormones! Yep they can get to you. Being done with all that younger woman stuff was such a blessing to me. I did not take hormone replacement as I didn't get hot flashes or anything. No regrets there though my bones are not in the best shape. And boobs! Regain left me with whoppers. They get in the way and no bras work. One of the worst parts of regain. Fudge.

Paula tell us where we can see your art. Do you have a web site? Good luck on the show. I used to do those. Lots of work. Also fun to talk to all the people that come by.

Liz congrats on being in normal range. Who knew normal was so exciting.

Lordy this heat wave is so awful I feel guilty for not suffering. But not much....
