I have had to learn to embrace and own the phrase, "F**K NORMAL!"

It is how I survive! When it comes right down to it, there is very little "normal" about me!

Congrats on the new low!

I know BMI has its drawbacks, is better as a statistical tool about groups rather than individuals, and doesn't work for people who are muscular like you, but for me it's a decent range to shoot for. Plus it's nice to have something about me that fits in a "normal" category!

CC, CONGRATS on the normal BMI range. I know that's a big deal to you!!!!! That is a wonderful achievement.

I hit a new low today, too. So, my October 1 goal has been met. I really am pleased with my progress.

Liz, it sounds like Mother of the Bride gets to share in the pre wedding jitters and stress. Given your proclivity to organization, I'm sure you'll have everything in wonderful control for your daughter. She must know, like we do, in what capable hands she lies.

It is warm here again today. Should be in the 90s by mid afternoon. I could use some autumn weather. Really, I could. Still sleeping with the windows wide open and a ceiling fan whirring.

Dog show this past weekend was fun. Buster really doesn't quite know what to do, so he's like a big goofy kid who wants to please, but whose ADHD is in overdrive, so his attention span in that of a gnat and his strong drive to investigate is a 15 on a scale of 1-10. Despite these draw backs he did okay. When he figures it out, he'll be hard to beat! He and I should have a lot of fun in the coming year or two.

Not much else that I can think of right now. I have a lot on my plate (as always). I am going to do my best to start making lists, as Liz does, to help me feel more productive. It's not that I'm sloth like, it's just my days are so busy I lose focus on details. I tend to get the "big things" done. It's the minutia a drop. So, today's minutia is getting to the post office and cleaners!

Monday merriment to one and all.

162 on the dot today! I'll take it!

Chilly weather today but sunny. Tonight is date night! Sushi and a movie. I think we will see Beetlejuice. Lots of horror movies out right now but neither of us like them!

DS2 will come for the night; he needs to pick up his bike since he has planned a 30 something mile bike event with an old high school friend that also just moved to the Madison area. We plan on doing breakfast out Tuesday morning at a favorite little local coffee shop. They have good quiches and oatmeal bowls. They also have quinoa bowls which I may give a try. Their lavender latte's are the best!

Weather sounds perfect for the wedding weekend Liz! Fingers crossed that it stays that way!

183.8! You bet your sweet bippy I'm counting tenths! Normal BMI, woohoo! I still have about 14 pounds or so to go, but yay me.

Drinking my coffee now and watching Kirby rip the stuffing and squeaker from his birthday present. Tile guy 2.0 will be back today and for the foreseeable future. Hoping to see my landscape guy as the front yard looks crappy and shouldn't for as much as I pay them.

More tidying on the docket today. I think I can put away the dog fences and the crate. He's not destructive for the most part unless I leave something important out or leave doors open, which is on me. And the crate battle was lost before we left for MI. We also need a dog walk and to I need to sweep the bugs out of the garage. So. Many. Bugs. Here.

Another task on the list is finding a framer to change out the linen matting on a few paintings that came from my parent's house. Funny how things develop stains when they were nowhere near a place to get stained. Could be something oily like Pledge that yellowed with time and heat. But both are older than me, so I get it.

Anyway, best hop to... take care all!

I love your description of Buster. Indeed, the goofy boy must be very endearing and fun.

That's is wonderful that you are so involved on Election Day. Good for you!

The key to getting things done is to put them on a list. I can procrastinate with the best of them and I do that by not putting those tasks on a list. Once they are there my mind tells me I have to work at getting that task checked off.
