That sounds fantastic!

Yes, those last 10 pounds are always most noticeable. And sometimes even after we are maintaining, weight shifts around and our appearance changes yet again.
We're flying to Houston, where my San Antonio BIL will pick us up, and drive us to the coast. We're staying at the most charming hotel, circa 1913. Really looking forward to it! Short trip though, we have a small fall break here in October. Basically a 4 day weekend.
Guys, I'm not being antisocial--just have nothing of import to report.
DD, I enjoyed your scones on Facebook. Calories were minimal. :)

Up early with Kirby cuddles. He pins me down laying on my chest in the morning and licks my hands until I can't take it anymore or he goes for my face, which I draw the line at.
Kirby and I walked before the heat sets in - still 18 degrees above normal here (awful). Then I loaded up the car and went to the annual hazardous waste drop off with electronics, liquids, and batteries. Then a stop at the grocery store for everything I forgot the last time. I think I'm going to make this if I'm not too hot (a/c helps to simulate Fall).
The scale was 182.4 today. My hairdresser was blown away yesterday and so complimentary of the weight loss. Funny that I'm only about 10 pounds less than when I left, but the last pounds are the most impactful.
Tile guys here again today. Sigh.
The zoom meeting went well yesterday. I hope that's settled soon.
I think that's all for now. Take care!
158.8 , I think (remembering what comes after the decimal point is hard!) Down a bit (for today) do that makes me happy!
New range will be delivered today! Yay! I think I read that the oven part even does air sous vide! I've never cooked anything sous vide before so I'll be checking out some recipes! I love a tasty challenge in the kitchen!
Dinner out with friends last night. I chose the shrimp ****tail with a side cheesy potatoes that I was only able to take a few bites of. Had a Reisling as well. We then went to a martini bar but I didn't partake. Last time we went there with these friends, I got sick as soon as we got home - way too much sugar for this VSG girl! Liquid sources of sugar just don't work with my sleeve. Dumping and puking ensue!
We leave for Door County on Monday. Highs will be in the high 50's to low 60's while we are there. Time to bundle up!
I'm the odd one out and don't like buttered popcorn. I hate if my popcorn gets soggy and I don't like having greasy hands!
Thanking you for putting an everlasting replay of Glenn Campbell's song into my head.....Galveston, ohhhhhhhh, Galveston, I can hear your yada yada calling.....
How are you traveling? Good times ahead for sure.

Liz, I feel you on the needtodo list- no worries because "time" will solve that problem. Do what you can; best efforts are some times thwarted by others lack of action. If it doesn't happen then leave it and negotiate at closing.
I think buffering the settling in what will become your combined home with a winter's rest in Florida will be good for the soul. Enjoy!
Another hot one here with the same forcasted into the upcoming week. Low humidity cools the air at night (windows open) but also rapidly heats the day. Works for me.
Royals move on to the playoffs. Game begins at 6pm so there is plenty to do before then. Don't know what, but will choose fun projects today ....
Recommendation for all- choose relaxing and enjoyable activities today!
