Woooo hoooo on the new low (thus time around!) Anxious to hear about your Dexa scan results. I would like to do that too!
Good luck with Dexa Scan - I am sure it will show progress.

UGH! I typed up my post and BAM! it was gone. I don't have it in me to redo it right now. Maybe later.
Weight related news....
205.0 - Oh GAWD, don't let this be an April Fools!
DEXA scan today at noon. I am interested to see what body composition changes have been made since the last scan.
Later....
120.2 - sinking back down nicely without thinking about it too much. DH is doing WW so that helps in that the foods we are eating/sharing are higher protein and lower calorie. He is only weighing on Wednesdays so hopefully he sees a good change. When he weighed last week after our trip he was up 3 pounds (he had lost weight prior to the trip). He wants to get fish to grill tonight with veggies. Sounds good to me!
Yesterday was a beach day and it was HOT! So weird after all the cool days prior to our trip. From one extreme to the other. This morning there is fog so thick that we can barely see the boat right in front of our building and nothing beyond it.
Today we have errands in the beginning of the day and DH and I are playing golf at 4:20. Possibly beach or pool time in between. I wanted to play golf before my association play on Thursday since I haven't in several weeks. This week is called a member-member tournament where you pair up with someone else in the association you know. Since I am new and so terrible I didn't know who to pair with but a woman I played with twice previously asked me if I wanted to play with her. She is a pretty good golfer and knows how new I am to it but we really enjoyed playing together before.
Have a amazing April Fools Day!

Sounds like a great trip so far! Memphis is on the list of places we would like to go to but I don't know when.
I am fine with getting too big a meal near home but I try to make sure it is something that can be eaten as leftovers. In fact, the chicken parm I split with DH last night was leftover from a restaurant visit a couple of weeks ago (I through it in the freezer since we were going away). I do hate to throw things out so it is a struggle when I travel. At least with DD and SIL, I could send the leftovers with them.

I assume you have your dress picked out? Doesn't it feel good to be back in a decent size?

I still over order, too. When traveling it's hard not to do because you can't always take home the left overs. When I was in Washington a few weeks ago I had so much of my dinner left over it was almost embarrassing. It's not like I ordered anything more than anyone else, but the portions were so big! I actually over ate and still had more than enough for two more meals for me. Luckily, my friend knows my situation and told me her husband would be glad to have it. Whew...
I don't think you like Quest Bars, but they are my go to for portable nutrition. I take them to school, dog shows, traveling.... Best thing is my gut can handle them.
Greetings all
There was a storm last night but it is sunny now. Had to wash my hair so I would not be revolting at the dentist. Also had to dash around to pick up studio payroll and get it delivered before the dental apt. All worked out. This was for the second half of the deep cleaning and all was fine. Took a chill pill which makes a big difference. Hope my stash is sufficient for the rest of the work I need this summer.
Aw CC poor Kirby! Sore feet and cone of shame. I am sure you know about those inflatable ones but maybe that is what he chewed. hoping for haling. And planting can sure be a recipe for a back ache. Take it slow.
Fire at your hotel DD! Not fun but sounds like all is well. The Civil rights exhibits must be so moving. I am old enough to remember the assassination of Dr. King and other events of that summer. Glad the history is preserved.
Peps yay you on 206. I bet that scan shows good things. You have worked hard and it shows. Nice going dude.
Water aerobics Liz. Time get to it indeed. And you know the best way to make pot roast is to just toss it into a slow cooker. I am like you - love the veggies.
So I have not gotten much done today due to driving around. No gym. Will get to it tomorrow. But at least dinner is determined - the omnipresent pot roast.
Cheers. Diane S
Back from our activities, after the morning excitement. The fire was in the restaurant kitchen, luckily on the other side of the building from us. First we stopped by the Peabody to see the ducks do their march from the elevator to the hotel fountain. It was a bit of serendipity, as we were on way to brunch next door to the hotel and just ducked (haha) into the lobby and saw the beginning of the duck ceremony. Very charming.
I don't know why I still struggle with this, at brunch I way over ordered. They had a biscuit and bacon board with different butters and it sounded so good. So 3 huge biscuits (I finished most of 1), 6 pieces of bacon (I ate 2). What I tell myself: what I ate was soooo good, it was okay to order what I wanted yada, yada. I mostly believe it, but I'm sorry the rest had to be tossed, because I didn't want to carry a doggie bag all day. In order to have some nutrition, I bought a container of Fairlife, and keep it in the room fridge, and drink 2 cups throughout the day.
We went to the National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel. I'm left again humbled and amazed. Where do people find the courage to lay their life and body on the line in service of justice? I would highly recommend if you ever find yourself in Memphis.
We're taking a little break, or maybe a long one. We might walk over to Beale Street, or we might just stay in. Tomorrow we are going on a city tour and a riverboat cruise. It should be warm (72) and sunny.
