I was numb for months after my DH passed away. And not fully conscious for the first year. IMHO, there are no right/wrong rules about any of this.

Yeah, that's a lot. I wish you were here. You could have my round table (with a leaf it's oval-shaped) that I can't use in KY (David's dining table and chairs are lovely family heirlooms). Therefore, I'm donating it to Habitat for Humanity. Not even the used furniture store would buy it. Maybe you could find a used furniture store somewhere in your neck of the woods?
