You are the best wife! What a scary dream - you really have to get fully awake after those kind of dreams but sometimes the feeling lingers. DH felt that way the other day after having a bad dream about being in a fight with 2 of the people he worked with at his last job 6 years ago (strange how one's mind conjures up things).

I do have one in mind now that you mention it - mastering single leg squats on a bosu ball!
Looong day here, but very productive--one of the most productive in a long time. I'll have time to be chattier tomorrow. Wishes for all to enjoy this evening and to get a good night's rest. :)

What Liz said! Every one of us is nowhere close to as heavy we were before VSG surgery. And we're still here, trying to be the best we can be given everything else we each have on our plates--figuratively speaking.

Greetings all
Another sunny one. We are spoiled. I dinked around this morning but got a few paperwork chores done. Off to the gym to walk where I brazenly closed shades and adjusted the tv so I can view it better. No one cared. No sound so for most of the time I read about the Menendez brothers getting a new sentence.
Next off to the grocery. I skipped the studio because I have glazed all I have and am not quite ready to stick my hands in clay. One incision is about 3/8 inch and is finally closing up but not there yet. Ok by my.
So I got stuff for chili and such which should keep us fed for awhile. Noticed the grocery was offering a Thanksgiving dinner for $129. Sounds like a deal. Still not sure of our plans but will find out on Halloween. Brother had said he might come up but he is busy with his Hollywood Halloween party so he might poop out.
Liz car shopping sucks especially if it's used car. Hope you find a good one. Our old suv got sent off to a car auction somewhere. Not sure if you are open to electric but there are lots of nice used ones coming off of 3 year leases. Enjoy DS visit. Costco has some kind of car buying program that is supposed to be a good deal.
Paula interesting on your meds dosage and pharmacy change. Keep us posted. Glad your DH is feeling better.
And you too DD. Glad your DH is healing well. You are indeed a prize for bringing home burgers. There is that good scar gel stuff that comes in sheets and is soft and almost gooey but it's a solid material. Good to put on healing tissue. Forget the name of it.
Peps love the Christmas puppy theme. How about Frosty or Rudolph? Or Joy? . Sorry your dad is declining but at least it sounds like he is comfortable and not fearful. I am sure he enjoys having you listen to his stories. Listening is so valuable.
I ordered some stuff from Lands end and LL bean. My wardrobe is so crappy. Now it is newer crappy.
Burgers tonight. Diane S
I cannot do that, Peps! I'm not sure I ever could!
But I can certainly get up and down off the floor, thank you, yoga!

I'm glad you mentioned this one. Posture is a very big focus for me. Ditto everything you said.
I'm aware (while watching others at the grocery store, etc.) that the way people carry themselves makes a big difference in the energy they communicate. And along with posture, I also focus on gait length. At 79 I'm very much aware of how much more elderly slumping and shuffling around can affect not only how I look but how I FEEL about myself. I just feel more energetic when I am standing up straight and striding out.

Thanks, Peps. I knew it was a long line. Thanks for the answer. The line's successes must be so rewarding for you.

DH took off his bandage today as instructed. There are steri strips over his stiches. The stiches look good, and seems like it could be minimal scarring.
I had terrible dreams last night that my son was being roofied, then robbed. I don't know why my brain has to go to these dark places. In the middle of the dream, I was thinking, wake up, wake up, this isn't really happening. It took me a bit to shake it off.I sometimes have these type of dreams when I haven't heard from one of them for awhile, but we just texted with each other yesterday.
Looks like it might actually rain today! Still warmish, which I greatly appreciate.
I brought home burgers for dinner, as I thought I'd give DH the night off again. Best wife ever?
I'm glad that your DH feels better today. And I am sure your new church will work out and provide you with other opportunities to serve.
