126.8 lbs. Weight fluctuates, but it's staying within my zone very well.

Yesterday morning we woke up to beautiful snow. It's nothing as nasty as what we got the week of January 5, and it was fun to drive around town in very light traffic (school was closed anyway) doing remodeling errands and enjoying the black-and-white look of everything.

Yesterday morning, despite the snow, I went to a yoga class at my new gym. My old (favorite local) yoga teacher from 2023 taught it. It's good to have a good teacher again who challenges me at JUST the right point. She teaches Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday mornings which is a good schedule for me.

Last night we ate a LOT of sushi, and it was really good. A sushi chef has a sushi bar inside Kroger (he rents space inside the store), and he knows what he's doing. Yesterday I also discovered a new Thai restaurant I hadn't found earlier. The Yelp reviews are very good. We're looking forward to that, too.

And I forgot to say that on Monday, while we were running around finalizing our insurance, and checking out a possible new piece of furniture, etc., we had a late lunch of fried oysters and onion rings. BEST onion rings I've ever eaten. Crisp and perfect and NOT the least bit greasy. Nonetheless, I realize that doesn't sound like a very healthy meal, but every once in a while who the heck cares!

DD, I'm sorry you're sick right now just before your Florida trip. I'm sort of sweating it out with you, worrying your hubby doesn't come down with it, too.

Seems like there was more I wanted to say, but can't remember it now. It seems my short-term memory is getting shorter all the time.

Here it is 10:00 am, and I'm still in bed trying to finish reading the internet. I need to jump up and be somebody!

Those three traumatic events in your young life must have been so rough to deal with.

120.6 - After 5 days at the same weight I am bouncing all around again.

We didn't do much yesterday other than hang out at the beach, then had dinner at the clubhouse with neighbors. My meal was okay, not great, but the visit with our neighbors was enjoyable. They are in their 80's and starting to feel the need to make some life changes to be near their kids and reduce housing. The wife fell and broke her pelvis just before Christmas while she had COVID. She wasn't that sick but her doctor told her to take Benadryl and it made her so sleepy that she fell asleep on a bar stool in her kitchen and fell onto the floor. She is just getting to the point in her PT where she can probably stop using a cane. They are planning to sell their beloved house in Delaware because it is on multiple floors and too much to take care of. Dreading the effort it will take though. After that they may move to a different home in our community in the over-55 side where additional support is available. One daughter also lives in this community so it is a good place to be and they don't like the cold in the winter (of course).

Today is water aerobics, bocce, and chili making. Possibly I will go hit some golfballs as I am supposed to play tomorrow morning. My new golf clubs arrive tomorrow.

Have a wondrous Wednesday!

I think Ocean Diane fixed TT - FB must have changed something which required her to approve everything.

I don't recall that Peps said he was at Westminster this year but I was wondering.

I am making chili tonight - inspired by you!

I think so. I packed my lunch, so I'm planning on going to work tomorrow. I've tested 3 times and its not Covid.

Jealous that you are showing signs of Spring already. We will have to wait until April/May!

Greetings all

It's cloudy but not raining. Started the day with Scrabble. Won two of three including one game against the Shark. He was playing two boards though. All good. After that it was errands: to the bank to get $ for cleaning person, to hippy grocery for half and half plus some lunch ( bad me bought deli onion rings) to pet store for dog food and finally gym. Did my walking to "Abbey Road". That song "She's So Heavy" goes on and on but it made me walk longer. Lots of people there but nothing weird enough to report. So I have one more chore on my list for the day but there is still time.

DD hoping you feel better soon. Glad to hear you used a sick day instead of toughing it out. You need to regenerate in FLa.

Gof clubs Liz? Oh well. Jewelry is better but you may enjoy the clubs and the game. Sounds like Justice has a good gig coming up. Summer camp.

Talked to an old friend yesterday and got caught up. We mostly talked about being old and our ailments, He recently moved to the south to retire and he likes it. Has made nice friends and likes the front porch scene.

Thinking of Peps as Westminster occurs. But what a nightmare it must be to show dogs in the garden.

Paula I hope you are all well.

DH took the newer car in for software updates. Have not heard about it yet but I bet it was a total nerd fest.

There are trees starting to bud. I have not seen a daffodil yet but soon. And I saw a robin today. But my car was frosted up this morning so we have a way to go.

Remainder of the chili tonight. On to the final daily tasks.

Diane S
