150.8, phooey! My body must really like the low 150?s! I don?t remember having this long of a stall with VSG. Since my GLP 1 provider does not allow us to order more than 1 month at a time, I decided I?m going to order the next dose up (7.5) but continue to take 5, or maybe even less. If it is still available the following month, I will order 10 mg to do my own little bit of hoarding (as long as expiration dates are good).
No napping with dogs yesterday, perhaps today. More musty laundry to do. I forgot that I had put the smaller pjs in the dresser and they were musty too! I think it is all done now!
Productive day yesterday with balancing checkbooks, recording business income/expenses, and starting to clean up basement (changing the scrapbook area to photo working area). I had taken over the basement bar/dining area with my photography business supplies and it would be great to reclaim the area for its intended purpose even though we never entertain downstairs!
Starting to plan out the menus for the next 2 weeks as the house becomes more full. I know I?ve said it before, but meal planning is so much harder on a GLP 1.
Yeah for stable weight! And also for early dinners - I used to chuckle at my MIL for going out early but now we are them (sometimes).

VRBO's are expensive here but the hotel rooms across the street have a special price for our community so it actually works best.

Liz your friend is lucky to have you, someone who understands what it's like loving someone with an addiction. I hope people are kind to her, despite her husband's sometimes outrageous behavior. You're right, we never know for sure what choices we would make in the same situation , but I think I'd choose peace. Another reason to be thankful: none of my beloved fight addiction.
I'm 63 years old, and have slept on air mattresses in the recent past. I think a kid can handle it. Especially when getting to be with grandparents. I had a full sized bed when I was a kid. It doubled as the guest bed. When Grandparents visited, I moved to the couch or floor (no fancy air mattresses in my day ) and I LOVED it, because Grandma and Grandpa were in the house. Happy memories.
I was so tired towards the end of my workday yesterday. I texted DH to let him know I would be home by 3:30, and did he want to go out for a very early dinner? Seated by 4pm, home by 6. Perfect! And I have yummy leftovers in the fridge.
Going for coffee in a bit, then starting operation clean up. I know I will be happy this evening when the house is clean.
Still kind of amazed how steady my weight is on Wegovy. Floated up to the top of my 2 pound range, then floated to the bottom of my range. I wore a pair of jeans I haven't had on since last spring. Still had that ping of trepidation when I pulled them up. No reason to be concerned, slipped on easily, zipped up smoothly. Feels great!
Probably too late now, but renting a VRBO or the like might actually be cheaper than hotel rooms. That is what we are doing for DSD's wedding. We got a whole house, can bring the dogs, will have DSD's cat and all the boys and maybe a cousin will stay with us!
Good heavens, I'd be miffed too. Family slights, jealousies, competitions and sensitivities are what make some folks decide they're done hosting Thanksgiving dinner--at least for a while.
