So via Peps countdown, you are at 38 days?!?

I do use Square on my phone for CC payments. You are right about the art fair set up, yuck! At least DH helps!
Popcorn actually sounds good. I might have to pop a bag if we have any. I'm down on calories for the day!
Coffee shop was good! Had 1/2 of a BLT on flatbread and a lavender latte with FF milk.
You are having nicer weather than us, though it should warm up more tomorrow.
I'll have to check mousetrap out. Is it out on one of the streaming platforms?
June 13th is my last day. I turn in my computer and badge, and whatever happens after that happens. They can't ask me to revise anything, or try to call me in during the summer for a project. I will finally be done, done.
Greetings all
More sun here. That's the way it is for the next months. Yay. This morning Dh's tech challenged friend came over because he could not get his laptop working. After 20 minutes he left to go get a haircut and then came back. So weird how he goes about stuff. But by then DH had done a force quit and all booted up fine. You would think he had learned by now that most computer issues are solved by reboot. Whatever.
Liz glad your "houseguest" is working out and that you have some transport options. Had no idea there was such a service. Good to know. Ditto on Peps trick - opposite of putting thumb on the scale.
Good luck at the art fair Paula. Glad it's you and not me. it is fun to have people come by and admire your work. Not fun to load and unload. Do you have a phone or iPad app for plastic payments? I used to use The Square.
yay Peps new low!! Wishing you and DD a great last few weeks and that all goes smoothly. Thanks for the tip on the pants. Will check it out for DH. Good to know there are some new fabrics that don't feel like itchy saran wrap.
Not sure what is for dinner tonight. Mexican is irresistible when available. Even our highly Americanized version. I think I have some taccitos in the freezer. Might be the ticket.
We watched the reboot of Dexter - one season after he flees Miami. It is actually pretty good once you get used to Dexter shoveling snow.
DD that dog is tempting but maybe not a good plan at this point. Brazil.....
i ran a lot of errands today - two drug stores, banking and then the studio. Glazing and glazing.
Anybody eat popcorn much? I had pretty much given it up as I hate how it gets in my teeth but lately have been craving some. Came hope with a Skinny Pop knock off since they were out of the real deal.

Not just spring there but early summer!
DH and I shared a burger last night - he had 2/3rds and I had 1/3 and was stuffed. 3-4 fries with it. I have found that I can eat just a few fries or onion rings and be happy these days.
How many days left for you? The warm weather states like California and Florida get out of school so much earlier than the northeast which is done in late June.

A friend of mine is looking to rehome a dog, and she comes with a prepaid trainer they hired. She is struggling living with the other dogs in the house and the trainer thinks she would be happier in a one pet home. I had to tell myself you can't get a dog, you can't get a dog... Its a goldendoodle, so not a dog that can travel with us, let alone to Brazil. But anyhow... Liz, I'm happy you found a safe way to get your guest back to their family. You are an absolute Godsend to them. I liked Peps scale trick, except I would probably pull up on the carrier too much and they'd be ma'am, this dog does not weigh 2 pounds! I've heard of a similar trick for baggage. With your foot off the scale, slide your toe under the bag, and lift a tiny bit.
All the Mexican food sounds good, but we're going with sliders tonight. If the hamburger is presented to me on a Hawaiian role, and is a bit smaller than a regular burger, I can deal with it. All things considered, I'd join Paula at her coffee shop!
The Mousetrap was very enjoyable last night. Somehow I've never seen it in a movie, or play etc so the ending was a surprise for me.
It was 80 degrees yesterday, and it is 77 today. I'm so happy.
Peps, I just took more paperwork to the Notary for signatures. I think that's the last of it, and my pension application is complete.
Thanks for the pants recommendation- I do think a lot of modern fabrics are really nice these days.

So smart! Not sure they could finagle it though.

BTW, the trick to Moby's weigh in... Put the carrier on the scale, but don't let go of the handles. Lift up ever so slightly to reduce scale weight of the dog. We dog people know all the tricks!
