I have a hard time living in the midst of a remodel. I actually never have dealt with much because of that. We never built a house. When we renovated the kitchen and bathroom in central Massachusetts I stayed on the Cape. When the addition was built on the Cape it was never in my way because there was a door between the existing structure and the addition. And all major work done in Florida has been done when I am up north. I just can't deal with chaos and clutter.

135.1. Booooo! Calories have stayed under 1,000 per day, not sure why my body wants to hold on to the weight. I know I will get to goal, it's just not on my timeline!

Good character building class today. It is more like a group therapy class which I have never done before.?They really want us to dig deep and feel all the feels of childhood and past hurts. I'm sure I'll discover some repressed stuff through this process!

No Super Bowl plans for us. You all lead more exciting lives! We will have leftover build your own burrito bowls for dinner. I don't care to watch football on t.v. or in person really unless it is my own kid playing! I do however enjoy the Super Bowl commercials! We'll see what I actually do today. Editing Hawai'i pictures might be in order.

Hope your Justice walk and beach club are fun Liz. Interesting that DH didn't want to witness you feeling all the feels! My DH cry's at commercials and sappy movies all the time , much more so than I do.

CC, sorry your Dad is feeling so down. I know antidepressants have really helped my Mom! Hopefully he will turn the corner soon and not be so grumpy with you and Claudia. Love your new art work!

Ann, how long do you anticipate being in the attic? Renovations can't be fun but I know will be so worth it in the end! Enjoy your new gym!

DD, sorry you have a cold. Praying it will leave you before your trip!

Diane, have fun hosting the SB party tonight! So nice of you to invite people over and listen to their non stop chatter!

Hope I didn't miss anyone! Hope you all have a great week ahead!

I listen to a lot of Prince when I'm working out but feel really bad a$$ when my playlist hits Sympathy for the Devil. Rolling Stones forever!

Greetings all

Early check in for me on another bluebird day. Big sun and no wind. I am going over to the gym in a few to get my walking in before the Super Bowl festivities start. Actually not much - making chili and entertaining studio buddy who is a non stop talker. Hope the game is amusing.

So I got a few grown up things done like checking my medial chart to see what antibiotic I am allergic to so I can make sure it's not in the eye drops they make you take. I think it's ok but everything ends in "oxin" or "floxin" so who knows. Figured out that I have an appointment with primary care in 10 days that I had forgotten about. I think its purpose is to see if the old lady is still breathing.

Dang it DD a cold! Crud. Hope it leaves quickly. And yay you for clothes weeding. Amazing what one can find.

Ann your Super Bowl plans sound good. Watch reclining. Yep I am rooting for the chiefs.

CC sorry your dad is so glum. Understandable though. Hopefully the game will be a good one and cheer him up. Are there any old classic football games he likes? Or any funny stuff - old movies? Good on you for getting out for a hike.

Peps had remarked that he felt old after watching the Grammies because some artists were unfamiliar. Ditto. I had never heard of most of them. I am going to try to listen to some of the new stuff while walking. But mostly I would rather listen to Janis and Jimmy.

Fresh chopped Cilantro is the main ingredient in my Pico de gallo which generally accompanies the guacamole and oftentimes liberally tops the salad. I used to leave the pits in the salad until I realized those pits sometimes were mistakenly taken out for eating, although I never did see any one actually eating one.

125.2 (lowest in a while--probably because I pooped 4 times yesterday!)

So here's a post from me that's not related to TT's irregularities. :)

Super Bowl Day! We've decided to stay home and watch it in bed (since that's the only place we have to sit and watch TV up here in our READ (Remodeling Emergency Attic Domicile).

I'm a Chiefs fan, although the Eagles would probably be my #2 NFL team to root for (I enjoyed the Eagles-Commanders game a lot). I bet that for many viewers tonight's game will be exciting and emotional.

I especially hope there isn't any crazy-guy-with-a-weapon in NOLA tonight, after that awful pickup truck attack on Bourbon Street in January.

This will be another busy week for both remodeling and relocation reasons. Good news is I DID join the nearby gym and have enrolled next Tuesday morning for a yoga class and a free fitness consult from one of the trainers there. I'm not going to hire a trainer, but mearly want to learn what machines they have and would recommend for my goals. Also I think they have one of those gizmos you stand on and find out what your muscle/fat/etc. proportions are. Better than just a weight scale. I am confident I've lost muscle density these last two years since I last did a test like that. I'll report what I find out.

Here's hoping everyone is doing well. I like hearing what's happening--good or bad. DD, I especially hope that your head cold fades fast in Florida's lovely weather.

Liz your daughter had such a fabulous head of hair, watching it be shaved off must have been very sad.

CC, sorry your Dad is struggling so much. How long does it typically take him to recover and return to his normal self?

Ann thanks for heading the charge to try to figure out what is happening with TT.

Yesterday I woke up thinking I have a cold. So much for my super immunities. I tried ignoring it, but yep, a head cold. Doesn't have me down for the count just that sort of spacy feeling when your head is full of snot. I think it's good timing though. I can rest today, and I should be better by Friday, when I'm getting on the plane. Much better than being sick on vacation.

Yesterday I did have enough energy to go through my remaining small clothes bin. It is now empty. Some back in rotation, some going to the thrift store. A few things were left from my very lowest weight. I don't think I will ever be that small again, and I'm okay with that. Its very liberating and peaceful at the same time.

Interesting! I hadn't until now, but you're right, we were both about the same age at the onset, and we both responded well to medication.

I had the same! I wonder if Facebook did one of their blanket setting changes and Diane needs to flip a switch back?
