I'm thinking of going to a dermatologist who does laser, Botox, fillers etc and getting some subtle stuff done. I've never done that before. I really don't feel like my face needs PS again yet anyway. I wish I had had my back done when I had a TT but I'm not doing that now.

Having a good consistent yoga teacher who helps you work at your level is so helpful.

Greetings all

Early for me. I sit here as my house is being cleaned. So grateful to have a trustworthy and reliable house cleaner. She pet sits for us too. Planning for the day whi*****ludes gym time, studio and maybe a quick store trip.

Ann I have onion ring envy. The ones I bought yesterday were sort of soggy. I am remembering a restaurant from childhood that had the best onion rings. Think and crispy. Glad you found good ones AND a good sushi place. Isn't it fun to drive in a new snow and be the first one to make tracks?!

69 days Peps. Yay. Enjoy the planning of all the stuff you are going to do. What did you think of that Westminster winner? Glad you had the face consult. Sounds like a good doc.

Got a question cleared up about the cataract surgery eyedrops. Not an allergy issue. Will pick them up today. It's getting real.

Liz hope your new friends can move successfully. Movers will do the packing but it ain't cheap. Enjoy the chili. Guess people in Fla eat chili too!

Paula good luck on your "mission".

DH brought a costco casserole home so I guess thats dinner for a few days. Ok by me. Meanwhile time to get moving. Will try to force myself listen to some newer music.

131.8. Nice drop again. Still getting rid of poop!

3 days in a row for the treadmill and arm work Monday and today. Today I did intervals on the treadmill with a constant speed of 3.4 and grade alternating between 2% and 4% for 40 minutes. Just the right level of difficulty for now!

DH asked me to boil him some eggs for breakfasts so egg salad is my lunch today! No clue what I am going to make for dinner. Something easy! Tomorrow we decided we would do an early Valentine's date for sushi. I hate fighting the crowds on Valentine's Day, especially since it is on a Friday this year!

212.8

Well, I have my first cold of the winter! Luckily, so far it is super mild. Just a little scratchy, tickly throat, runny nose, and TIRED! It's mild enough that I am able to choose to "not be sick". As long as I keep busy, I don't really notice that I'm wiped out. But yesterday when I got home I sure had to fight the urge to take a nap. I had too much to do!

Had a quick meeting with plastic surgeon yesterday while I was getting my Daxxify injection. I an appointment on June 30 for a full surgery consult. Will be interesting to hear what he has to say. According to him the "deep plane" facelift is a gimmick created by the LA surgeons to set them apart from others. It's still an SMAS facelift, but done with modern techniques. My guy used to be in the LA area but didn't enjoy the plastic surgery climate there. Nice thing is he really likes doing body work. I believe he's pretty artistic and he understands the male aesthetic. So, I believe if I choose to go that route I will be in very good hands.

Overall, I am feeling very much like life is same old, same old - routine and somewhat boring. Mood is better, so I'm wondering if the malaise was due to the onset of the cold??? Probably a little bit of everything contributed.

69 days left, but who's counting? I AM!!!!!!

Smart! I was afraid I had missed the chance to cheer you on. What did you think of the Airedale crowd this year?

No. Though Molly was invited I didn't want to go to NYC in February and have to schlep all my dog show stuff around Manhattan. Having lived on the upper west side, I know what it entails to get around NYC. Not in the mood for that right now! Maybe with Buster in a year or two.

P.S. What I forgot and now remember just as I clicked on SUBMIT ...

Liz, your artist lecturer's site is amazeballs! I love his work and, of course, the subject matter--women. :)

And that reminds me that, thanks to CC's and Paula's nudge I finally watched the Weather Tech Super Bowl ad. What an awesome ad that is! So joyful. I dunno if I could go as far as those girls did to have a good time, but I do know I'd love it if they took me along with them every once in a while. :)

126.8 lbs. Weight fluctuates, but it's staying within my zone very well.

Yesterday morning we woke up to beautiful snow. It's nothing as nasty as what we got the week of January 5, and it was fun to drive around town in very light traffic (school was closed anyway) doing remodeling errands and enjoying the black-and-white look of everything.

Yesterday morning, despite the snow, I went to a yoga class at my new gym. My old (favorite local) yoga teacher from 2023 taught it. It's good to have a good teacher again who challenges me at JUST the right point. She teaches Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday mornings which is a good schedule for me.

Last night we ate a LOT of sushi, and it was really good. A sushi chef has a sushi bar inside Kroger (he rents space inside the store), and he knows what he's doing. Yesterday I also discovered a new Thai restaurant I hadn't found earlier. The Yelp reviews are very good. We're looking forward to that, too.

And I forgot to say that on Monday, while we were running around finalizing our insurance, and checking out a possible new piece of furniture, etc., we had a late lunch of fried oysters and onion rings. BEST onion rings I've ever eaten. Crisp and perfect and NOT the least bit greasy. Nonetheless, I realize that doesn't sound like a very healthy meal, but every once in a while who the heck cares!

DD, I'm sorry you're sick right now just before your Florida trip. I'm sort of sweating it out with you, worrying your hubby doesn't come down with it, too.

Seems like there was more I wanted to say, but can't remember it now. It seems my short-term memory is getting shorter all the time.

Here it is 10:00 am, and I'm still in bed trying to finish reading the internet. I need to jump up and be somebody!

Those three traumatic events in your young life must have been so rough to deal with.
