119.2 - 49 degrees out. Should be the last morning under 50 for a while. I've been frozen.

The first wave of the family made it here on time yesterday. Nice visit so far. Today is the beach club followed by dinner at the clubhouse. But first the bus leaves at 7:30 for breakfast. Only DH and I will be on it as they all plan to sleep in.

After breakfast we will do our usual Justice walk. He is good with the company as long as they let him approach at his own pace.

Have a surprise Sunday!

Football is interesting - especially when your team wins! Today the Patriots play the Dolphins. I guess I will have to wear the patriots shirt vs the one I wore last week LOL.

I don't ever think food has been unappealing to me. Some things are less appealing than others, I can't eat much and don't have cravings but no repulsion. DH's ex said she took Wegovy for 2 weeks and stopped because she couldn't stand the sight of any type of food. Weird how it affects everyone differently.

Greetings all

Some rain today but also some sun. We have some friends nearby that have been without power so we invited them over. Woman came while guy went to his gym/run. We watched our football team which actually got it together and won decisively. A big deal. My niece goes to the games so we text during the game. Grateful for a win because Nebraska is so obsessed with it.

Liz that NP sounds terrible. Jeez even if you don't have your act together you should make a better appearance Agreed you should ask for other help. I have tachycardia snsvt and take a med for it. Diltiazen or something. Hope your DH gets the help he needs and that the tests go well.

Paula what good thoughts you have for Liz and good on you for sharing them. Information is so important and it's unfortunately scarce. Enjoy the comedy club.

No gym for me today due to football and guest. Back at it tomorrow. Having a guest prevented me from eating much today. All good.

Yeah Bonnie all the plans for a day seem to evaporate as the clock turns. So be it. It's now late afternoon here and the looming question is what to make for dinner. I so hate having to address this question day in and day out. Could be a night for frozen burritos.

Yep CC we want a picture of that totem when it's installed. So cool.

Not much else. Maybe something interesting will happen tomorrow.

148.4. Up a little. Still feeling a bit dehydrated. Woke up with a headache the last two mornings. Tomorrow night will be split dose injection day again. So far I think I'm liking it. Seem to have more even appetite suppression (I don't have days that I physically can only eat 600 calories) and food noise is consistently quieted without me feeling food repulsion.

Had the pizza birthday party today. I ate 2 smallish pieces of thin crust pizza and had one bite of DH's serving of birthday cake. Drinking a Fairlife for dinner as we had a later lunch and have to leave for the comedy club by 5:30. Might get a snack there if I feel hungry. They require a 2 drink and/or snack minimum anyway!

Agree! You have to consistently be your own advocate! I picked my Electrophysiologist for a reason so when they started having me see a Physician?s Assistant instead, I told them no, even though the PA seemed very competent and I?m a pretty easy case to care for. No shame in asking for the care you want!

My recommendation would be for DH to be seen by an Electrophysiologist, which is a Cardiologist that specializes in heart rhythm disorders. Not knowing DH's health history I couldn't really guess why he is having heart arrhythmias (slow or fast) but some common causes would be heart disease, heart valve problems, or cardiomyopathy (enlarged heart). Sometimes (like with me) there is not an identifiable cause. The echo he is scheduled for is a good start. That will show things like cardiomyopathy or valve problems if they are there. They might want to do a cardiac cath if the Echo is normal. Getting on the beta blocker is also good. I've been on one since my 30's when my heart arrhythmias started. They will help keep the heart rates lower and also lower blood pressure and can cause fatigue, especially in the beginning.

If the NP inspired confidence I would have been asking things like why does he have bradycardia requiring a pacemaker but also these episodes of tachycardia- are these electrical issues in a heart related?

Having confidence in your medical team and being able to have a meaningful conversation with them is so important.
