The plan for your tooth sounds wise - I think you would end up in the same place anyway. I wonder if implants have gotten any less expensive? I paid for one for deceased DH in 2015 and was shocked at the cost. And even though we had dental insurance it wouldn't pay anything toward it because the caveats of what was covered were so stringent. The teeth on both sides of the implant had to be completely cavity free for it to be covered which in most people our age is almost never the case.

Totally doable weight loss goal. I think setting a realistic target makes it so less likely that you will sabotage yourself. Losing 60 pounds in 160 days is crazy. It took me 8 months (240 days) to lose 35 pounds 2 years ago.

Don't discount that weight loss. It may hold! It has been quite a journey for you getting your head around your eating. You have made so much progress especially over the past few years.
Florida would be very different for you especially with the dogs I think.

The pile is 6 ft tall, 20 ft long and 20ft deep! So. Much. Tumbleweed. And they are SHARP with thorns. Not nice at all!
Yep I have seen that too. One reason I never wanted a robot vac though our dogs are pretty good. Stilll it was funny to watch it assault the dog biscuits...ds
I love the term Romeo lunch!
I saw a video once of one of those robotic vacuums that rolled over dog poop and spread it all over the floor! Be glad yours was only dog biscuits!
We had steak bites with mushrooms and a blue cheese salad the other night and it was delicious!
Good to hear you can wait on the root canal. Not fun. And I think the extraction and implant is the right thing. ds
Greetings all
The sun is out and I am doing my usual. DH went to romeo lunch today and brought home fish and chips. Yay, another day I don't need to plan a dinner. So in a bit I will go out and about on errands and to the gym.
So I came home yesterday and heard this machine sound. DH had purchased a robotic vacuum and floor scrubber and it was roaming around the house. After a time of what seemed like random roaming it ran over a dog dish full of mini milk bones and spewed them all over the place. It sounded like someone threw a handful of dog food into a box fan! I thought it was pretty funny. But the thing kept running for about two hours and seemed to do the same areas over and over. It is noisy and became noisier after it ate the dish of dog treats. The floor is pretty clean but I am not sure I can tolerate the sound. Will advise DH that it needs to run when I am absent. Or I will need a Painkiller....
And Liz that does sound like a great drink. Nutmeg. What a concept! Like summer eggnog. Glad you continue to have fun and adventures.
Paula and DD be glad you are not in the midwest. Sounds like a hideous storm. I remember so many in Omaha where I was afraid of driving to work but felt obligated to try and did so. Once I spun out and ended up in the ditch backwards. No thanks.
Yay Peps day 2 of onderland . (stupid auto correct). Put that in your summary AI. Anyway by all means go see your dad. I bet no one notices anything And yeah one good thing about northern california is the lack of biting bugs - at least near the coast. That was really the thing I disliked most about the midwest - mosquitoes. They trapped you inside during the summer. I remember going to a local lake to walk and running to get back into the car to escape swarms.
CC you have a tumbleweed farm!! I always thought they were kind of cool but I guess not so much if you have to pay to have them removed. All the best with your 130 day plan. You will do well.
The covered pool makes sense Paula. Glad you are enjoying it.
Time to get moving as ordered by Apple watch.
