Your dogs coveting the toy reminded me of Olive and Mabel and their contest for the orange bone. Maybe you've seen this video, I think it's a hoot!

Congratulations on 2 decades of sobriety!
I was told I have a large uvula. My BFF cautioned me to make sure I enunciate very clearly if I share this fact.
Oh yes, learning how a new kitchen "cooks". I've been cooking in the same kitchen for 37 years now, so I know every inch (and there are so few in my tiny little kitchen) of the space, and how to make it work. When I cook elsewhere, my parents or rental etc. my rhythm is not the same. I feel like a new kitchen will tell you it's secrets and show you what the dance will be, but it can't do it all at once. It reveals the plan overtime.
I must agree with Miss 150, there is a magical quality about this piece, and magic knowing it will shelter something so precious.
Love that glaze ( and small swirl on the top). (Respectfully) smiling at the thought of your friend resting happily in a magical, mermaid's genie jar. I'm sure it will bring her daughter joy.
The church just almost next to us has a good sized garden that supplies fresh produce for their food pantry. Swann and I noticed it on a walk around the neighborhood - end of season squash and peppers about all remaining). Great ministry; good on you for sharing your time that way.

August tallied up a 7.2# loss and am under my self set maintenance range (140-150). At 5'7 I'm definitely not under weight, but on the other hand, at my age, a bit of padding is not unattractive either. Figure to refind a few of those #s as we settle back into a more relaxed and normal routine around here.
I'm down to the last (as far as arranging furniture goes) room- and no surprises here, it is the living room with DH's TV plopped down like the albatross they are and mucking up any sense of .... Ok, a deal is a deal, and a way will be found.... The next task will be to set and organize the so called art room - a project I'm going to thoroughly enjoy.
Time to be about it. Stuffed peppers and first loaf of bread to be made today (working out bugs in kitchen efficiency and inevitable rearrangements following).

My dad is a horrific snorer with a CPAP and I know I snore, just not sure if I stop breathing. When my dad went to the sleep doc to fit him for the CPAP, he took one look in my dad's mouth and throat and declared, "you were born to snore!" I so don't want one!
