Sorry about the puppies, but as you say, a mixed blessing. And yeah for closet shopping surprise and finding a "new" suit!
Still so impressed with your consistency with the demanding treadmill!
Greetings all
The cyclone seems to have passed. It was mostly sunny today but some clouds. Not sure if there will be more. Most likely.
So I went to the studio and made some stuff and had a meeting about bonuses. Came up with some stuff thought I am expecting some board members to ***** Oh well. So it goes.
Yikes Liz so scary about DH pacemaker alert and yet glad it's there and working. Let us know what they decide. Electronics are truly amazing these days. Diagnosed my DH with his afib, Hoping it's nothing serious. And sounds like you are getting into golf! More fun if you understand rules and customs.
After the studio I went tot he gym and did walking. Have not seem my horse friend lately. DH took the dogs on a walk so it's good he got out of the house. He also went out to lunch and brought home fish and chips which is dinner tonight.
Fettuccini Paula! My favorite. Costco has a pretty good chicken one that has lots of chicken. Enoy. Still have snow?
We Peps, size matters. LOL. More than weight. What fits and what doesn't is the real thing. Glad you are pleased which what fits. Sorry for no puppies.
Football tomorrow and will try to do gym. Exercise, unlike other chores, is never done. At least when I get groceries or do laundry it is done for 3 or 4 days. Not the treadmill; always there and always demanding....

Liz, please update us when you have more info about DH. I would be concerned too. Sounds like the pacemaker is doing it's job!
My kids have stockings made by my mother. I couldn't replicate them exactly, but I made one identical size, complimentary fabric, and quilted it for DS's serious girlfriend. She did not have contact with her family, and spent all holidays with us while dating DS, and I didn't want her to feel left out. They broke up, but I still have the stocking. Should I pick off the embroidery of her name, and replace with the new girlfriend's name? Kidding, I would never.
One of my friends also bought new stockings for the blended family. She hangs them all on a stair railing. Not sure what she has done for the new wives and new grandson.
119. Boooo.... Lack of poop and water retention.... But the more than consolation prize is that I did some closet shopping last night and discovered a long forgotten suit that is one size away from ideal size for me and it fits beautifully! Whoo hooo..... I'll take that over a number on the scale any day of the week.
Woke up in the night with sinus pain. I'm afraid I may have a sinus infection as a left over from my cold two plus weeks ago. I'm feeling a bit warn down, too. Darn it!
Sadly, no puppies. Mixed blessing. Puppies due on December 23rd was not ideal. I was looking forward to this litter, but did have reservations about the timing and the ability to keep another pup.
After days and days of threatened rain, it has finally arrived. It's a pretty warm rain, too. I was expecting cold. I understood the bomb cyclones (as this rain is being called) were from the Alaskan Pacific, not the tropics. The "eye" has moved south and is pulling up sub tropical moisture. Can't complain about low 60s!
Off to 5th grade! Festive Friday!
Liz, sorry to hear about DH's heart troubles. Does he have a pacemaker/defibrillator combo or just a pacemaker? If it is the combo, at least it will shock him if he goes into a dangerous heart rhythm. I have the combo and know only too well that feeling of almost passing out from a heart arrhythmia! Pacemakers will kick in for heart rates/rhythms that are too slow but can't help you with rhythms that are too fast!
147.7. Feeling a bit dehydrated today so not sure the loss will stick. 3 pounds to a normal BMI! Yay! Looks like we have until at least mid December to still get our meds! I wish my online company would let us order ahead!
DSD and fiancé rolled in at 5 am after driving through the night to get here. DH is sleeping too as he worked last night. Will have to find some quiet activities this morning!
Making chicken fettuccine Alfredo for dinner. As unhealthy as it is, my portions are so small it doesn't really matter (calorie wise) what I eat. I will still try and make the rest of the day protein forward and healthy!
Do you all do Christmas stockings? I bought matching ones for the family when we became a blended family. Wondering how I might add one for the fiancé, then what do you do when grandchildren come along? Our fireplace mantle isn't big enough for too many more stockings! I don't actually (usually) stuff them with anything, they just hang as part of our Christmas decor.
Tomorrow we have a birthday pizza lunch for one of DSDs cousins and then the comedy show at night.
119.6 - the official weight for the week. Not terrible with a lot of going out to eat since our friends arrived.
Yesterday's golf etiquette lessons involved things like pace of play (go fast), how to properly fix divots and how to rake the sand bunkers after you tramp around on them. We learned a ton of rules like how to deal with going out of bounds near the trees vs properties or when your ball goes into the bunker. We only got to hit the ball once which was driving it over some mangroves - my ball made it over! It was 68 but super windy so we were freezing. This morning it is 46!
We went to the art museum with our friends and joined at a level where we can bring 2 non-members to the museum and to member-only events for free. We also will have reciprocal privileges at tons of other museums. It is a really great museum with interesting exhibits coming in all the time and member events are quite nice so we were glad we got a chance to get that set up.
This morning I am going with DH to his cardiologist because he had an event which his pacemaker monitor reported to them and they are concerned about. DH knew immediately what it was when they called because he said it was so weird. He said it felt like his heart stopped and he started to faint, then it just went away. He didn't tell me until the doctor's office called the next day - very concerning!
After that we will take our friends to Fort Pierce just south of us to lunch, then the Navy Seal Museum. Tonight is dinner at the Kilted Mermaid, an eclectic restaurant with live music and interesting foods like fondue.
Time to get showered. Have a fine Friday!
