The compounding pharmacies can only make copies of patented meds if they are listed by the FDA as being in shortage. So they can't make dupes of Zepbound/Mounjaro (tirzepatide) if the originals are available. Some get around it by changing the formula by adding something like B-12 so it technically isn't the same. Not sure why all don't do that especially since the front companies (with the doctors or NPs) all pretty much use the same handful of compounding pharmacies.

I would likely start the desk, then end up napping.

Popcorn with real butter! One of my favorites. I'd rather eat a small 1 cup serving with butter, than a bag sized serving without. And lots of salt. Go big, or go home.

Greetings all

Great fall day here. After my usual lounging I went to the gym and did my walking. There was some guy there doing power lifting who was grunting and groaning like a porn star! You could hear it all over the place. I was embarrassed for him. After that we went to the pharmacy for covid shots. I also got the flu shot. DH will do that later. On to the studio for glazing and to pick up a check to deliver to sort out some discrepancies. Made that delivery and went over the check issues. I am pretty sure the issue comes down to poor record keeping and confusion. Oh well.

CC hope your zoom was ok and not too much emoting by aggrieved people. That gets old so fast. Glad Kirby has a new buddy. Wear him out!!

Interesting stuff about the medications and the short lists. Not sure what all that means except drug companies trying to profit one way or another. I had contacted Orderly meds but did not follow up and they sent me an email saying they had no shortages.

Liz you are almost there! Sometimes the hassle of selling a home and all the work makes it easier to say goodby to it.

Bonnie clocks chiming! Love those sounds. Interesting choice you have: clean a bathroom or go outside in 92 degree heat. Hmmm.

Pizza tonight. I picked some up after gallery duty yesterday. I am ruled by the convenience factor.

Well if anyone figures out good protein lunch options please advise. I used to get tuna creations which are tuna salad in a packet. Not bad. But like everything else one gets sick of it.

Might be a nap day. My options are: clean off desk or take nap. What would you do?

GL Peps.

130.2

Funday Friday!

Palms down, ****ly, and don't take any crazy town crap, remembering your participation in this is to resolve issues, and not there to fix anyone's unhappiness over the situation.

One bathroom and primary bedroom squeaky clean (save windows, which I am saving for a day when I want to be especially miserable). Thought I was going to get all bathrooms done yesterday- foolish and overly ambitious me.

So, today's amusement is bath #2. Not going to mind staying inside surprisingly, we're going to be hot (92+)- low humidity, but, still....

Tonight is spooky movie and popcorn with butter bonus (still dropping on the scale a bit- Dr appointment early next week and already have blood drawn and sent). Seems funny and a bit weird adding calories instead of taking away...

Ah, there goes the clocks chiming. Got those up yesterday and am enjoying the "tintinnabulation" of the bells. Sounds like home.

Haha on the child support! He would have to pay in Milk Bones.

You are probably right about the shortage list. If everyone floods back to Lilly, they will likely be out in a heartbeat.

Very good thought! My folks said the same of Wade the tile guy in MI. Practically moved in.

159.4. Shot day was yesterday. Got my sales and use tax done and submitted yesterday but didn't get to the business income/expense bookkeeping. On the docket for today.

Plans to go out to dinner with friends tonight. Not sure if I will just get a shrimp ****tail or order something else that I will have to take most of home. Shot doesn't appear to have really kicked in yet so hopefully I can eat a somewhat normal amount tonight. Last night we had Taco John's (I know, yuck!). I ordered their taco bravo which is a hard shell taco wrapped in a bean covered soft tortilla. Used to love those things when I was in college! I could only eat about 2/3 of the taco. I remember eating the taco plus the loaded nachos when I was in college. Taste buds changed too because it was pretty gross!

I use the same GLP 1 provider as CC. Looks like they may be able to provide the med for 60 more days (from a different pharmacy) and I may be able to order several months worth. My other alternative if my NP can't get the prior authorization for MJ approved is to switch to semaglutide. There is also a lot of chatter that Tirz won't stay on the no shortage list for long. No sense in getting super anxious about any of it, it is what it is. A wait and see game for sure!

Liz, I hope you can soon take several days at the beach just soaking up the sun! You have been working so hard for the last few months!

Good luck with the zoom call CC. Glad Kirby has a friend he can play with! Lol about the puppies! They would for sure be cute! Do you think he would be responsible for child support?
