DH and I were just reminiscing about clothes lines. My parents still had one at their Florida house and I loved sleeping on sheets that were air and sun dried. My Mom still has one at her house. Back when she was mobile, she dried the sheets outside during the summer. The sundried sheets mixed with the scent of the breeze off the lake at night were so lovely.
Greetings all
Yet another sunny day here. I drove past the bay to Scabble and it was so smooth. Windy now. I got killed at Scrabble. The Shark is getting better and better and I am not. Boo Hoo. Still looking for the lost glasses. I am pretty sure they are at the gym and will eventually surface. After that I stopped at the studio and forced myself to do a certain amount of glazing. More to do tomorrow. At least our studio board meeting got cancelled so one less thing.
Liz you did a lot in one day. Glad the gloomy painting is leaving. Three things is a big day for me. Tomorrow is house cleaning and a must do gym visit.
DD if I were you I would not worry about the gym until you make your escape. Then there will be time. Also for more dress shopping. And yay for mammogram result. Remember when they sent a letter in the mail?
Paula you are busy too. Kudos on getting lots done.
Got a message yesterday that one of my best friends from law school will come visit this summer. She has never been here and plans to drive from Wyoming and see someone else in Boise. She loves road trips but I must make sure she understands how rural the roads are here and how some stuff is not on GPS maps. We are that backward. No direct routes. But it will be fun.
I assigned DH the task of washing the bathroom rugs since they looked similar to the dog disco floor in the shower. Too heavy to put in our old dryer so they are on the deck. Anyone remember having a clothesline?
Well back to the eyedrops relays Hamburgers for dinner tonight.

Hard to get energized when it is raining and gloomy. I hope your part of the country gets a lot of nice spring days in April (Cape Cod only gets a few)?

Working out in the early part of the day is so much more doable IMO.
It is hard to find dresses that hide bra straps! It appears that some young people don't care but I don't like them showing either.
Congrats on a clear mammo!

I had my mammogram at 10:15 am, and the results were in MyChart by 12:30 pm. Ain't technology wonderful! All good news on the results, as expected, but still always good to hear.
I went shopping after my appointment. I am on a mission to find a few more summer dresses that are bra friendly. I actually have a nice collection of dresses, but so many of them require futzing with strapless bras or, if they do have wide enough straps for a bra, fashion tape to hold them in place. I'm not looking for party dresses, just everyday dresses that make me look somewhat put together. I went to Macy's, Kohl's, Target and TJMaxx. Nope. I think I'll try the outlet mall next. The search continues.
DH was turning my only sunny flower bed when I got home. The soil looks great. I can't wait to plant something in it. It's not time yet.
We still have some ham and Hawaiian rolls left over from Sunday, so that will be dinner. I had some grilled chicken nuggets from Chick-fil-A when I was out and about, along with a diet lemonade. $10.00!! It's getting expensive for 8 little chunks of chicken and a drink, but they pack a good amount of protein. It's probably my favorite fast food option.
We're going to Planet Fitness in a bit. I just can't seem to get into a solid routine, but I do get there sporadically. I'm so wiped out after work, although I realize that I would probably have more energy if I worked out more regularly, I continue my sluggish after school ways. Well liberation is coming soon, and hopefully the energy to do the things I want to do is coming with it.
126.3, all good.
Morning has been spent preparing for Thursday's Bible study which I'm leading. Still have a companion sermon to listen for that. I also got mail order meds transferred from one pharmacy to another due to insurance changes.
Will hop on the treadmill after lunch and perhaps work on my Etsy site some more. DH is working 12 hour shifts today and tomorrow. Thinking something easy for dinner. I have some frozen fried clam strips that I have been hungry for, so might put that in the oven with a veggie or salad for a side.
Your day was quite busy Liz! Glad today will be a bit more laid back for you.
Gloomy, rainy day today. Not conducive to doing anything fun or productive outside. Looking forward to some sun and nice days, hopefully soon!
120 - Taco Tuesday, but we are having leftover easy lasagna.
Lots done yesterday: teeth cleaned and appointment set up for another crown :(, met with paint/handyman and have a good plan for painting over the sand paint and the ominous mural in the master bath (now I just need to pick the perfect light blue for the walls), pinned up the hems on the 2 long dresses I bought from Poshmark and dropped them off at the alterations place, got DH measured and ordered a navy blue suit for the same 2 weddings (getting ties up next), had the car washed, then cooked dinner. Whew! That's a lot for retired folks!
Today is much less ambitious: Justice walk, finish cleaning second bathroom and start dusting while DH is at gym, go to the beach, eat leftovers for dinner. I think we can manage tokay's schedule.
Have a titillating Tuesday!

I too would want to sneak bites (of course). But good for Ron - maybe he is looking at your success and getting some inner motivation to work on himself. As we all know that self-motivation is the first step.
