145.1, same!
No crab legs last night, will try for tonight. Bitter cold again today. I need to go to the grocery store, but don't want to go outside! My heated throw did arrive yesterday! Love it, except it is an ugly color (70's rust).
No real plans today. Perhaps some cleaning or some book work. I've already been shopping online!
Liz, you should already be home in the nice FL weather! Good for you!

Liz, if all went according to plan you are already home! I will leave for the airport in about 90 minutes. I had a stress dream about catching a flight to Paris. Everything went wrong, and yes I missed the flight. UGH... I'm guessing it's because I am not looking forward to this weekend, which makes sense.
Really good workout yesterday. I'm finding I get more done when I workout by myself, rather than with the trainer. Probably because I'm not carrying on a conversation with someone!
I have given some thought to Paula's question about cardio. It does have 3 main (IMO) benefits: heart/pulmonary health, weight management (albeit minor), and blood sugar management. Of course, there are other benefits listed, too. I think for me, it's the building of stamina and breathing that are attractive. I will see if I can't add at least one cardio session to my week for starters. It certainly won't hurt, but I do need a reason for cardio because it's boring as sh*t!
It is gray and chilly and spitting from the heavens. Looks like I will miss the atmospheric river that's coming through tomorrow. But I wouldn't mind having a lazy wet Saturday with nothing to do! Earlier this week I looked at my calendar and briefly got excited because there was nothing scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. LOL! It's because I'm not here!!!
Have to get cracking so I don't miss THIS flight.
Oh man, I would have been ticked too! I definitely would say something to the 27 year old, even if it was just, I sure wish I could have enjoyed that extra hour of sleep this morning!
I'm sure your friend was very embarrassed and it was the son who had no clue that it was rude to do that. I think people who haven't had to do much compromising often don't realize the implications when they change things last minute.

I have actually been pretty lucky with the dentist. I didn't have to have any major work done until I was well into my 40s and by that time things had really progressed. I remember my very first root canal as being nothing like I had feared. It was no worse than getting a filling, IMO.

Funerals make me think, how nice it would be for the person being celebrated to hear all the lovely things being said about them. A good reminder to tell people how you feel about them while they are alive.
I am irked this morning. One of my pet peeves is people being late. My neighbor asked if I would take her and her son to Costco today. he's a chef and is catering a good friend of hers' celebration of life tomorrow. I of course said yes. The original plan was to leave at 10, but she called me yesterday and asked if we could leave at 9. I am absolutely not a morning person, which my friend knows, but trying to be accommodating, I said okay. At 5 minutes to 9, she texts that her son is not ready and he's going to be another hour so we should just leave at the original 10 o'clock time. Seriously? I would have loved to stay in bed an extra hour this morning. I was exhausted and had to pry myself out! I feel like if someone is doing you a huge favor like driving you an hour and a half each way to Costco, you do your darndest to be ready at the time agreed upon! I don't want her to feel bad, but I want to say something as a lesson to her 27-year-old son who should know better... Here endeth my daily rant.
Hmm, it seems all I had in my brain was my rant! If I think of anything else, I'll let you know... take care all!
Interesting about your children. I just realized that my kids are also not afraid of the dentist unlike me and my brother.

I love Aquaphor too but best used at night as it does stay a bit greasy on hands. I use it for my very dry feet and my hands.

You are really slimming down now. Good for you wearing the wine suit!
