Funny that you mention the skin pain. There was a thread on my GLP 1 about skin pain and quite a few GLP1ers have experienced it! No clue what the etiology is!

I am home. It is gray and raining gently, but steadily. I didn't get home until 11:40 last night, so 2:40 am east coast time. Got to bed sometime before 1 am. I am glad to have this day to recuperate. I plan to actually watch a Netflix while Ron goes of to his workout. Guilty pleasure. I will also have to workout today and get some dog trimming done.

Seeing my cousins, their kids and grandkids was really nice, even if the reason for the gathering was somber. I met two members of the family I had not yet met (one husband and one wife of cousins' children). I feel a certain affection for my cousin Mark's daughter Grace. She's 28, has two boys and works in gerontology and is a talker and an open book. She plays dress up with her oldest boy (He's only 2) and makes no apologies for it! He runs around in old fashioned jumpers and old fashioned baby shoes! He's super cute!

I had a pretty scary 30 seconds on board the flight from Denver to Oakland. The turbulent air was so intense that not only did the plane bump and dip up and down, but it was pushed side to side and at one point the wind sheer caught one of the wings and tipped the plane so violently we swung like a baby in cradle being pushed by a very angry older sibling! I have been on a flight when people have gasped and made a little squeaks, but this episode resulted in the release of actual screaming from some passengers. When it was over there was a person to the back of me hyperventilating and someone soothing them with the repetition of, "Breathe, just breathe." Pilot came on over the PA apologizing for the bumpy ride. Me, I saw the flight attendants weren't really bothered, so that put me at ease. I just tightened my seatbelt and held on tightly to the arm rest. My stomach did do a few flips and when we tipped and rocked I did feel fear- not gonna lie!

216.7 I was hoping to be down a little, but I have to remember my body doesn't like flying and usually retains fluid after a flight for a few days. Eating was pretty okay over the weekend. I know I didn't get enough protein, but I did get at least 60+ grams over the past three days.

I have to play Dr. Google today. I have a patch of skin on my thigh that is super sensitive - to the point of feeling tender just from my pants rubbing or touching the area. There is no visible irritation. I'm wondering if it is a nerve issue like a pinched nerve somewhere. It's really irksome to have the fabric of one's pants cause "pain". Even the blankets and my sleeping shorts can cause the skin to complain. So, so odd, don't you think?

Not much else to report.

Kitchen is tidy, I'm showered and just waiting on the oven repair guy to fix my steam oven that has a "technician required" error.

This morning there was a mystery poop on the patio, which is walled in. Kirby may not have many manners, but he has potty manners and would never be so rude.

I checked my cameras and it was a fox!

Cheeky.

Not much else happening here. Just cleaning as my dad and Claudia come Thursday.

Take care all!

Ha! I'm the opposite! I remember most of the horrific details for years after the move.

You're in the home stretch!

My move is a bit of a blur looking back... I think that's the brain being protective given how difficult it is!

I'm alive, but if you need proof of life you'll have to wait a few days.

Movers come today. We hope to leave here tomorrow morning and head back to Kentucky.

I realized a few days ago that moving must be like haging a baby--doesn't matter whether you want to do it because it's going to happen anyway.

Good news: I've developed purging muscles I didn't think I'd ever build.

Later, gators.

My boys would rather die than receive undies from their Mom for Christmas! Too funny!
