Up at 5 am this morning with laundry in the dryer! We landed at 6:30 in Miami yesterday, were home at 10, mostly organized and repacked by 11, then into bed. All that remains is the last minute packing of underwear from the dryer and phone/ipad/charger stuff. We leave for the airport at 7 am.
I would have taken a later flight if I could have easily but that would mean driving 90 minutes to Orlando. Much easier just going to the local airport. My flight back on Saturday is more reasonable at 9:15 am, getting here just after 12.
I wish I could have seen Justice before I leave, but he will be thrilled to see DH. He has looked happy in the pictures I received. He is a very happy camper most of the time. He likes doing home stays so he can be a lap sitter too.
I refused to weigh this morning - will do it next week. I did take my tirzepatide injection for the first time in 12 days.
Not much else to report - just on the go this morning. I will see DD this afternoon and have dinner with her tonight. She gets her actual surgery time today. Hopefully in the morning but not TOO early.
Have a traveling Tuesday!

I agree that your house sounds ideal and moving is SO painful.
Definitely boy dysmorphia because you look really slim in the pictures I have seen. I bet you get many compliments on your new physique. Age does make some parts of the body slouch a bit which has nothing to do with excess weight. I saw that in deceased DH who I don't think ever had an extra pound of weight in his lifetime.

Winter always seems to want to make a comeback after the "official" first day of spring. At least the snow doesn't last long.

Greetings all
It is sunny here and even warm. I can see t shirts in the near future. Got a late start because DH wanted to watch an episode of Dexter since he could not find ancient aliens. Oh well. Skipped the gym (and feel guilty). Went to the studio and finished some things. Kilns unloaded today and there were loads of things to see. Always fun to look at the array of new items.
Yep Liz customs is no joke anymore. No fun allowed. My brother had steel bars around his ribs for awhile. He kept a picture of the X-ray and doctors report on his phone so he could show the TSA what they were. But yeah metal body parts could create issues. Guess our sleeve staples are titanium. Anyway glad your DD is moving forward and that you can go help even though it's a travel overload. No jet lag for you!
Peps I think you should stay put unless you travel to somewhere and fall in love with it. Good medical matters. And I bet you land in Eurppe under 200. Bet you are looking forward to the trip.
Stay warm Paula. There will be spring...
DD if you want a mac book then I say get it. DH has one but he has one of every apple thing. We both use our iPads extensively. DH reads constantly. Kind of depends if you want to read, write or both. I do any typing on a desk top mac but not all that much.
Eye doctor tomorrow. Probably will schedule the other eye. Hope so. I really need new glasses. So I may miss Scrabble or part of it. The Shark will have to torture someone else.
MOre tastee sandwhiches tonight. Love it when I don't have to think up a dinner.

I had an old Mac Airbook and had to retire it. I didn't feel there was anything I couldn't do on my iPad. I do have a Bluetooth keyboard but rarely use it. I also have MS Word and Excel on it.
Much cheaper than buying a new airbook.

Won't be too long and you will be out of the 200s! Good for you! Your house/yard sounds ideal Peps and you already have the nice weather. I have a cousin that just recently from Palm Springs to Phoenix. His siblings all live in AZ, so I think that was one of the deciding factors for him!
