Weight stable (same as yesterday).

Seeing puppies was a lot of fun. There is a little guy who appears to be a Buster mini-me. So cute. One of the girls reminds me of Molly, too. Always interesting to see how the genes line up.

Liz, what a hectic, but fun weekend you've had. I hope you recover quickly from the festivities! BTW, you are in a perfect position to experiment with reverse dieting and increasing metabolism. If you are up for it, it might be worth a try. It really is nice to have metabolism that functions fairly normally.

Congratulations to Kirby for becoming a fully fledged swimmer yesterday! I think a retriever swimming for the first time is equivalent a terrier catching its first rat or squirrel. It's watching them do what they were bred to do and it really does make them so happy and proud. I know I'm always proud of those puppy/teenage milestones! LOL

DD, you may be right about the upcoming changes, but I'm not 100% sold on that theory. Other than learning how to live on a somewhat lowered income, I'm feeling very positive about retirement. I do believe I am "grieving" the future loss of GOAT. I had to strongly remind myself that my new dog mobile is not an RV and it is not meant to be an RV. Embracing that reality is helping the general mood.

Diane S. your Princess Bush is gorgeous! They do flourish in your climate, don't they! I bet peonies and hydrangeas do well in your area, too.

Feeling a little better today. I tweaked my back reaching for a puppy yesterday. I recognized the feeling and knew I needed to be very careful, so I took two Advil and then in the late afternoon went for a gentle massage. Did the trick. I also think the massage released some tension and possibly some endorphins helping my overall mood.

That's all I've got!

Weight 120. Time to reduce to the lowest dose of tirzepatide.

I am looking forward to getting home. I'm not looking forward to leaving the place a mess, but Mike won't care. You are correct Peps that I like to have my place clean and clutter free. Right now there are excess decorations and games everywhere. I decided I have to prioritize: Sheets on my bed have to be washed and 2 clean towels need to be available for Mike and I (we don't get in until about 10 the night we return). Food that won't keep must be thrown out and all trash out. Dishwasher run. But that's it. I told them to leave the decorations up.

Yesterday was another fun day during which I had about one glass of wine to their many glasses of whatever. I think DD is going to be super hung over this morning. We need to leave in about 2.5 hours for the airport but it is only 10 minutes away. Eldest DD flys back to NJ from Orlando so she needs to leave a lot sooner (in a few minutes possibly - need to go check). This weekend has involved a lot of girl bonding and fun - it was good to get to know my daughter's friends better.

Time to get cracking. Have a munificent Monday!

Haha, you would be right at home in my house! In the last few years it has been my ongoing mission to keep the dining room table clear of clutter. And it is a mission requiring dedication and perseverance. So the clutter migrated to the kitchen table. Seems I can't have both. I'm also not big into dusting. If you don't keep up with the kitchen, the piles grow and you have no clean silverware. If you only dust occasionally, it really doesn't take any longer than if you dust every week. My theory is save your dusting duty for when it really counts. I'll let you know when that will be.

Ai, so aptly put: your soul gets compressed.

You're entering a HUGE transition time in life. Could that be adding to your stress? And not getting to the level of workouts you prefer. Huge stress buster! Maybe you're feeling the absence of all those Weight lifting endorphins?

Greetings all

More sun today. News report was that our rain storm a couple of days ago was an aberration. Whatever.

Yay Paula on the wedding dress. So chic. Looks great. Glad you got to participate. Yeah weddings these days have to many attributes. No thanks. At least they have limos. DH and I drove his old dodge to our wedding.

Liz driving the Navigator! Thats like driving the aircraft carrier enterprise! I hate big cars too. Our last rental was a minivan as they were out of everything. Not fun. I salute you for your energy in all these events. Pontoon boat?! Sounds like the Enterprise again.

Back to school DD. Enjoy the fact that the horizon is near. Why is it that when managers assign all this stuff there is never any thought given to how much time it will take? This used to drive me nuts when I had a real job. Tasks can only be compressed so much. Eventually it's your soul that gets compressed.

Yay for Montgomery County goals Devon. It's a BFD to be prez of the national airedale club. Be prepared to listen to *****ing but you know that. Enjoy sorting the puppies. Fun.

CC a diet coke torpedo!! What a mess. But if it had sugar you would have an entire ant hill. Glad you escaped the party. Hope your dad continues to improve.

Little news here. After the studio I stopped at the natural food store for a turkey wrap for dinner. They didn't have much else that looked good. Yeah Paula I make hamburgers often because DH things they are excellent cusine and I just don't like to cook anymore. so hamburgers are on pan and 10 minutes.

Still contemplating the linen closet. And I have a bunch of gallery finance chores to do this week. Ditto studio board. Insurance, taxes etc. Grown up work.

Diane S
