Next to last day on the boat and it looks absolutely gorgeous out at 8 am. Yesterday was overcast with showers at times and choppy water so we did not swim off the boat at all. We did climb around some rock formations on Virgin Gorda for a while in the afternoon but otherwise just lounged around and ate good meals. A crepe with vegetables and eggs for breakfast, pulled pork sandwiches for lunch, and lamb lollipops with salad and mashed potatoes for dinner. The guys were thrilled with it...
The dingy did get retrieved and our captain spent a few hours cleaning it out as it was filled with water and sand. Amazingly the motor did not get submerged so once everything around it was drained it worked fine. Lucky!
The 3 person crew on the boat work really hard all day - always something to do from cooking, cleaning, putting anchor lines out and in, etc. They turn in early at night (by 9) and are up early in the morning. When we come out of our cabin at 7, the crew is already hard at work.
I've had a few pictures of Justice from the farm. His caregiver doesn't take the best pictures but he seems to be enjoying poking around the farm. Probably lots of interesting smells LOL.
Have a thankful Thursday!

I cannot imagine trying to juggle something that hot with tongs. Wowzer!

I would bet that at 1100 calories you will see a bit more of a weight drop at some point. When I kept really good track of calories while maintaining post-VSG, I maintained at about 1350. I think you are more active/muscular than me so I'd be surprised if your maintenance level was lower than that.

New outdoor furniture will be fun. You must have an image of what you'd like in mind?

I have never found too small clothes to be motivating either. You are really at a good size now, so you could probably call goal at any point. Size 34 is amazing! My DH hasn't seen a 36 in a LONG time.

I can attest to the fact that CC's home is amazing! Views galore!

Greetings all
It's kind of windy today but no rain yet. It is on the way for tonight I think. Probably should be ready for a power outage which occurs when someone sneezes around here. Power company is really lousy.
So I started the morning with a studio zoom meeting of the board. Things are going pretty well and not much controversy. People are pestering me to teach them raku firing again which I have not felt up to but I will try if I am certain I can get help with the physical aspects. It requires enough agility to remove an 1800 degree item from an open kiln using tongs and getting it into a trash can of combustible material. Used to do it all the time. Oh well.
And last night's gallery meeting was not too bad so no *****ing here. The annoying person running for office has a challenger who will be good. So all is well in my little world.
Spent some time at the studio today. Made owls.
Liz that vacation spot looks so fabulous. Perfect. But what do you do without a dingy? Paddle? What a super relaxing trip.
Peps 6 teachers for 500 kids? Thats like 3 cowboys to manage a stampede. Best of luck. Yes I have always thought your schedule was enormous and you do a lot. Full time job plus the dog show circuit. Plus grooming. Soon you will own your time and your mind and your energy. Bet you can't wait.
DD do you still have controversy club?
So Paula the exercise snack article was on a CNN newsletter. You can go to CNN website and see it. Interesting discussion to the effect that even these mini exercise sessions can lower cancer risks and such. I used to think that if I can't do a half hour that it was pointless but that is not true. Today I got my "snack" at he gym as the elevator is still broken. I also get one by doing squats while my eggs cook.
CC post a pic of the new outdoor furniture. You have a roof deck!!!!! How cool. Balloon viewing gallery. (auto correct typed "baloney"}
Well the shredded chicken got delayed until tonight. We shall see how good it is.
Liz is living in some kind of travelogue ad!!! Every photo is outstanding.
Peps, I agree, 32 or 34 waist is very impressive. I do not envy your performance schedule tonight. Great memories for the kids though. I loved every minute of my music education. ( Well, possibly there are a few less than loved memories of the 2 years I took violin lessons in grade school, but even those years have some happy memories).
Paula great job committing to exercise. I bet the ability to increase your calories will come along as you continue your workouts.
CC, the pictures you've posted of Kirby in the last few weeks are so handsome. He is a truly gorgeous pup. Rooftop patio? The options for enjoying life at your house seem endless!
I don't have much to add. The days are marching by as we all try to make it to spring break. (March 29). Still low energy. I went to the fancy grocery shop after work. They have the best chicken salad and I thought that would help me get some more protein.
Overcast, but not one snowflake, despite yesterday's forecast. A okay with me, I do not need snow for any reason. Even so, there will probably be at least one more storm this season.
