Weight 120.8 - unchanged in 6 days. I guess that's good though I am low in my range. I have been at 5 mg of tirzepatide for 4 weeks now after stepping down from 7.5. If my weight goes down further I will drop down to 2.5.

We got home earlier than expected yesterday and were able to pick up Justice. He has been happy as a clam in my lap since then. It was raining when the baseball game we were supposed to go to was going to start so we decided to skip it. The game ended up being held after a 90 minute rain delay which is unfortunate because DD could have exchanged the tickets if it was cancelled entirely but can't now. I feel bad about that but sitting on wet seats and getting home really late after a long travel week was not appealing. Before we left we had breakfast out at the coffee shop we used to go to in my former home town, then lunch with DD and her fiancé.

Today I finally get my car! It's rainy so my other tasks include some house cleaning and putting green stickers on things other people in the family are going to take (I took pictures and put up a shared album so items could be claimed). I should also begin sorting through Christmas ornaments and pictures. The picture sorting is the toughest for me as the last time I did it was when eldest DD was dying and I was looking for good pictures of her specifically. No other sorting or tossing was possible at that time. I need to do it with vigilance now, sorting by kid and throwing out way more than I keep. The immediate goal is to get a few over time of DD with her eldest sister and her Dad that she can use at the wedding. That was DH's idea - he is good at this stuff. A number of years ago he went through this process, then made photo albums for each of his children which they treasure. Speaking of weddings, it is 5 weeks from this Saturday (and closing is 7 weeks from Friday)!!!!

Raining like crazy right now. There is no way Justice will let his paws outside in this so hopefully it will ease up in a bit so he can go out. Have a munificent Monday!

ETA: Just heard from DS that he is headed here with the cat and what sounds like COVID! He was supposed to come here for a couple of days while his apartment is being bombed for pests. Not a good situation. Feeling more than annoyed and nervous.

We have a neighbor who I assume has the same condition as you based on your descriptions- he has had numerous surgeries on his hands. He is retired now but was lucky that he worked for a boss who owned the business and understood the issue. His boss helped work out how to handle work when he had to take time off (it was a job requiring some manual labor). Our neighbor actually tried to quit the last time because he was close to retirement age but his boss said no way - that he needed him a bit longer (and he wanted our neighbor's benefits to mature). They again figured out a way to manage it. There are kind people in this world.

I liked the characters in Ozark but the story was just too dark for me so I had to stop watching.

That reminds me that we need to do the same for season tickets to our theater. We do musicals - nice and light!

That hotel is impressive.

Liz, you and your DH are the busiest (in a good way) people I know.

Glad you solved the login mysteries. Sometimes happens to me, too. And congrats on the move part of the move being done. All these transitional phases are challenging.

Greetings all

Gallery duty on this nice warm day. Quite a few people came in and it was fun. Sold some stuff.

I have made a decision to contact my hand surgeon. My fingers are getting worse and worse and I can't ignore it. Not looking forward to procedures as I have seen this movie before but not much choice. We shall see.

Yep horror movies are not my thing either. Don't like the anxiety they produce. We started a new series "Bad Monkey" last night on Apple. It's one of those quirky detective shows set in south Florida full of oddball people. My kind of show.

Liz sounds like the new in law family is great. Yay more fun.

Thats it. Hamburgers for dinner. Kiln opens tomorrow.

I don't do horror movies, especially supernatural horror! But I am okay with Vampires apparently. I could never watch this stuff in a movie theater though. I need the smaller screen and the chance to cover my eyes. Not horror, but super violent: Ozarks. I was interested in the characters and what would become of them, but I could not deal with the violence. DH would watch, and then fill me in on the progress of the story.

We needed to go downtown to renew our season tickets to the Guthrie Theater. (Just easier to do in person than online) We decided on a casual lunch at the Bar at Bullvinos, a Brazilian steakhouse. 2 appetizers to share and a Caipirinha ****tail. The bartender was a lovely young man from Brazil and we had so much fun chatting about what we love about that country. While there are many Brazilians in Massachusetts, not so many in Minnesota, so it's kind of a novelty. Afterwards, we made it to the theater, got our dates and seats selected. Something to look forward to when the daylight gets shorter and the Arctic winds arrive.

DH is now headed out for a bike ride, and I am headed to the porch with a book and a diet coke.

I don't like scary stuff anymore either Liz! Loved it as a teenager but not anymore. Same goes for scary rides. No thanks! I did go Ziplining after I lost the weight with VSG but the climb up the rickety wood ladder to the launch point about did me in. My heart doesn't need that kind of excitement anymore!

DC1 and I headed to the botanical gardens again this morning. Nice cool, cloudy day; perfect for taking pictures of the beautiful flowers. Dahlias are my new favorite! I'll post a few pics on TT once I get them transferred off my card.

Almost 22 lbs. down. I'm sure I will be there tomorrow. Only 40 more to go until goal. Feels very doable! I'm taking DD's suggestion and lengthening out my days between shots to get a few days with more calories in them. I was actually able to eat 1 C of cottage cheese with 1 C of pineapple for lunch. Have not been able to come close to that for a while. Jimmy John's for dinner (I get a little John which is usually just perfect for a meal for me!) I'm thinking chicken fajitas for tomorrow's dinner (no tortilla for me).
