VSG Maintenance Group

Your DH as always is such a gem. I hope your parents recognize that too.
So little time left at work for you - must make it a bit easier to go on Mondays right now.

Your husband's people managing skills are awesome! Folks like him keep our idiotic, pathetic species from destroying itself. These days we need so many more of his ilk. You're a lucky woman.

Such a terrible response by the chef, Liz! Diane, I bet the pots will be easier this year with your concerted walking efforts! The sweet peas are calling... DianeO, I haven't played mahjong except online by myself, probably would be a lot of fun in a group. Ann, good luck finding a spreader. Hope you give NextDoor or your neighbors a try. Peps, woohoo for shorts and muscles! Paula, lemonade pie sounds good and I love black jelly beans. My grandma without fail had a crystal candy dish in her living room with black jelly beans and those sugared jelly orange slices. Yummy. And surprisingly good together as a kid stuffing one's mouth before Nonnie came back in the room. Not that my black teeth and tongue didn't give it away! DD, you are kind to give your Easter to your parents rather than doing what you wanted. If karma is real (and I like to think it is even if it's just paying peace into your soul), you are racking up the points!
Quiet day here. Beautiful and 69. Kirby and I sat outside a few times while he worked on his smoked Easter bone. His lion's mane chest fur gets so wet when he chews on things laying down! I am tempted to put it in pigtails out of the way. I meant to plant the last of my plants in the pots, but petered out oomph-wise. I did walk Kirby being careful to avoid walking in front of my neighbor's house. I can't call her a friend anymore. I did return a hammer she left here under cover of darkness last night leaving it on the wall by her driveway. I don't want to be the "vindictive" "bad friend" who also "steals tools"! After venting to my board friend, he said that we should get free counseling when we join the board given all the drama and upset. He's not wrong. Maybe we could get it paid for by the directors and officers insurance.
Can't say I've been eating well with all the upset either. I go very carb intensive when I feel like this. Blech. Makes me sleepy. And chubby despite the shots.
To add to the list of my homeowner to dos, one of the motorized blinds in the high window in the living room is acting up just as the sun has reached that side of the house in the late afternoon. I'm not sure who can fix that out here, but I'm cooking like an ant under a magnifying glass! It's always something.
Anyway, Hope everyone is good! Take care!
The joys of homeownership: there is always something that needs to be attended to.
I hope you are able to put that former friend's actions behind you soon. Being a board member is definitely not easy (and not for the faint of heart).
