Our cross town high school (same district) was told by their principal they could no longer teach To Kill A Mockingbird. I imagine it will be taken out of rotation at our school one day. It's not without problems, but that provides an opportunity for discussion and context, while preserving the still (I think) important themes of empathy, friendship, and moral courage.
