Still seems weird that it is March already.
Yesterday I was terrible at golf again. My practice session on Friday was great but I was making all my old mistakes yesterday. Especially at the end after we ended up having to wait 5-10 minutes at each hole because the 4 ladies ahead of us were incredibly slow. The wind was blowing at 22 MPH from the north at that point and the sun was low so I got frozen sitting there. I didn't even finish at the last hole - just took the max for that hole.
But we had a good dinner out with our friends. Need to eat home a bit more this week though we have a couple of events on the calendar.
Today is Justice walk, water aerobics, ? In the middle of the day, then a thank you party for people who volunteered at the tennis tournament last month in late afternoon. It is at a model home in the new section of our community so that should be interesting.
Have a minimal Monday!

I check in every day, but am not participating as much as I intend. I want to correct that ! 139.6 and steady. I am safe from the wild fires, the one that is contained is just south of me and the big 30% contained one is about 15 miles north. Air is very smoky, but no evacuation orders. I have still not received my electric trike. "It may be lost". How do you lose a 85 lb. trike ? One of my cases closed and I picked up another one. I'm still invigorated by my Guardian ad Litem experiences. I can see how DSS caseworkers burn out, though !
Paula and Devon, your photos and successes have been inspirational ! DD and Devon, congratulations on your progress towards retirement ! Liz, praying for an excellent outcome for DD. CC, love your totems and cleaning stories ! Miss 150, it's nice of you to share Swann's therapy dog presence. Diane, I like Paula's idea of a treadmill at the studio ! Anne, can't wait to see renovation photos !
I treasure all of you !!

And we treasure you! I'm glad the fires aren't too near. Former neighbors of mine live in Murrells Inlet and they said they can see the smoke too.
What an inspiration you are in doing the Guardian ad Litem work. So needed.

209.7 - When I get a similar weight two days in a row I start to feel like it's a "real" number and not a teaser. It makes me happy to be under 210. I'm pleased that even though it took me longer than expected, my slow but steady attitude didn't falter. In the past, if I didn't make a weight goal I would feel discouraged and would often "throw in the towel".
I started feeling anxious over the weekend. I think it is part of my retirement preparation thinking. It is not a negative anxious feeling, but rather an anxiety pushing to me to get things accomplished. Yesterday after getting my client dog done (which turned out to be a relatively easy t*******whew!) I trimmed Blitz, washed crates, vacuumed the house and cleaned my bathroom, joined my brother for dinner at a new Japanese restaurant, came home and got dog club business done. If I hadn't had to go to work, I could have stayed up and cleaned and organized my office space.
On the docket today is work (my long day), making a stop at Whole Foods for an Amazon return, a workout, working on report cards, and two phone meetings for dog clubs. I was hoping to get some trimming in on Buster, but I don't think that's going to happen.
Cold and clear this morning. Brrr.... I think we'll get another full month of sweater weather, at least mornings and evenings.
Not much else...Here's to a great week!
Congrats on the sustained loss! Getting close to Onederland! Good for you! I think the anxiety regarding retirement is normal! I see it in DH now. I don't think I got nervous but DH was still working and I have Ben's pension so wasn't worried about finances. Our income will soon be cut in half (a bit more actually) so maybe I should be getting anxious too. We won't get SS for another 2 years!
You are full of energy and getting a lot accomplished it sounds like!

129.4. Normal fluctuations!
Did my 40 minute interval workout on the treadmill today after taking 2 days off. Felt good! Dusted the living room too.
I'll be leaving the house shortly to meet a friend for coffee at my favorite coffee shop. Lavender latte - yum!
Dinner plans are white chicken chili. I'll have to make a grocery store run after the coffee shop. What an exciting life I live. Lol!
I can't even imagine what a lavender latte would be like...
