119.4 - took my twice weekly 1 mg dose of tirzepatide last night.
The fog over the Marina is so thick this morning that you can't see much of anything. Weird. It was really humid yesterday so that must be why.
Golf yesterday was not good for the first few holes. I can mostly drive and putt well but I just can't consistently hit the ball in between. Like I literally can't hit it. Worst round since I started keeping track.
This morning I have water aerobics, then the annual meeting for our club this afternoon. Several people we know were running and there are some big plans to be announced. Not official until after the meeting but it looks like they are going to build a wonderful 2 story fitness center. Right now our gym is tiny. There will be plenty of room to work out and have classes, but also an Olympic sized pool, a kiddie pool, a restaurant and nice lounging areas. It will be built where the current pool resides so they will have to relocate water aerobics elsewhere during construction. I hope it won't be too far.
I need to get moving so I can walk before my class. Have a motivating Monday!

132.1. Down a bit but I?m eating and drinking much better today! Got my skinny, skinny jeans on today! Yay!
Liz, I?ve never played a game of golf but have hit the driving range and putting greens with DH for practice. I too have problems even hitting the ball sometimes. I have never been an athlete and don?t have great hand eye coordination! If we lived by each other we could just walk and do water aerobics and ditch the golf! I know DH would like me to learn the sport too though!
Feeling much better! I have tons of laundry to do, need to give the house a good cleaning and am way behind on my Bible studies! I?ll try not to overdo and chip away a little at a time!
DC hanging out today and they want to ?go on an adventure today? which usually means Mom, take me out for coffee or lunch! Not feeling well enough to leave the house, but good try kid!
I am glad you are back to the land of the living but don't overdo it!

Paula, glad you are feeling better! No fun being ill for extended periods of time!
Liz, having been to Florida only once (32 years ago to visit DisneyWorld) I don't think of it as a land that gets fog! I think of fog as a cool weather locale phenomenon. Funny that it struck me as odd that you would get fog in Florida.
The weekend was spent grooming dogs, playing Solitaire and watching TV in the evening. My car did not leave the driveway from Friday evening until this morning.
True Confessions: I have never been one to keep up with popular music the way my friends did, but I always knew music groups, bands, and singers. Watching the Grammy's last night slapped me upside the head how out of touch I am with today's music scene. Translate that to, "You old, dude!" I will go on to say, too, that some of the new artists do not thrill me. Though I was pretty fond of Chapelle Roan, Benson Boone, and Sabrina Carpenter. Gaga's Goth look - can't decide - but I do love her!
Weight back down to 212.4. I watched some youtube videos on body dysmorphia in men over the weekend. The information made me feel much more normal and on track. Sometimes I need a good slap in the face reality check. Still hell bent on getting below 210 sometime soon. I don't think it will happen in the next 12 days though. But, it will happen.
Senioritis reigns! 3 months, 26 days until retirement. That is 17 weeks away, of which only 15 are teaching weeks!
I finished booking the shore excursions for our cruise in June. I am absolutely delighted that I held off because the one tour I wanted and was previously sold out, was available. I don't know if they added another section, or if passengers cancelled, but I don't care! I am going to the Spanish Riding School in Vienna for a "backstage" tour of the stables and then get to see a private dressage performance of the Lipizzaner Stallions. This is a bucket list item that I didn't even know I had. I feel giddy like a little kid about this! (For reference: I spent my youth on the back of a naughty black pony and several horses!)
My first horse was a naughty black pony too! Frisco was a black Welsh pony, with that ridiculous lush mane, tail and forelock that Welsh ponies have. He looked so cuddly, but he could be a little demon. When I outgrew him, he got to live out his old age with us. I graduated to my darling Shotzy, the grey Arabian (I've shared his pic on TT). He is still my screensaver on my phone.
My 1st pony was called Midnight. He was a Shetland/Welsh cross. He had a little more height than a Shetland, but everything about him was Shetland, right down to his ornery disposition. But, boy, did that pony teach me to ride and have a good seat and strong grip. He dumped me so many times and then he'd stand and laugh at me!
Next up was Johnny. He was a black MorAb. I loved him, but he was a sponsored pony and his owner decided to sell him. After that I moved up to Quarter Horses and competed in trail and western pleasure and took stock/cutting horse lessons. I'll see if I can find a picture of me riding Danny at the Jr. Grand National and post on TT.
I had to look it up, Margaret Henry who wrote books about different breeds of horses, wrote a book called White Stallion of Lipizza, which is how I first learned about the Lipizzaner Stallions. I read everything she ever wrote, along with all the Black Stallion books, and the My Friend Flicka series. Thanks for bringing back happy memories.
I grew up in a horse neighborhood. Barn right next door and just down the street stabled horses for people and it wasn't uncommon for kids to be riding their horses down our streets on the daily. The barn down the street had a show ring and often hosted horse shows. I yearned to have a horse but it was just too expensive of a hobby for my parents to afford. I thankfully had the opportunity to ride some with friends.
I'm REALLY old - I know who Lady Gaga is but not the others you mentioned.
A trip to Austria? Any other countries? How exciting!
