118.8

Yesterday morning I went to gentle yoga for the first time in 2 years. I actually could manage most of it but I am really inflexible. It will be good to get some more flexibility and balance back.

It was SO COLD by the time I finished my 4 hour shift at the tennis tournament. I started with 4 layers of clothing but had to add a puffy jacket, earmuffs, and mittens by the time I was done at 6. The girls playing looked frozen as they were getting ready for their matches. But after several days of rain delays they caught up to the tournament's original schedule so will play the final rounds tomorrow. DH is doing court maintenance from 10-6 today which requires him to be on his feet all day. He was tired enough after 4 hours yesterday that I worry about how he will manage today. He needs to find a chair to sit in when the matches in his courts are active. I am only working a 4 hour shift this morning and I get to sit. The temperature is supposed to be 60 by the time we start and mid-60s by mid-day. The sun is finally out!

Time to get Justice out - I am walking alone this morning as DH needs to conserve his strength. Have a sunny Saturday!

8 hours is a very long time to be on your feet whether you are accustomed to it or not, but particularly if you are not. I hope the day warmed up.

Higher air temps here today, 26 degrees!, but nullified by the very strong wind. Still just a dusting of snow, its so strange when places in the south got inches and inches of snow. I'm not mourning the lack of snow, but it is problematic for some trees and shrubs, that are missing their insulation. Also, snow melt is part of our precipitation. Are we heading into a dry spring?

Scored a very nice Perry Ellis wool coat at the thrift store this morning for $13.00. Thrift and consignment shops are my very favorite place to buy winter coats.

No other plans tonight except to go out to dinner with BFF and DH's siblings at an Italian restaurant we like. I'm looking forward to the evening.

I think walking for 8 hours is far less tiring and painful than standing for 8 hours!

DD, I think it will be quite a while before we can think about "heading into Spring". Wishful thinking though! I'm probably just grumpy because I'm experiencing WI weather instead of Maui weather!

Good job on finding the coat!

Finally! My daughter was not feeling sorry for me feeling cold since they have been having the same cold weather as you guys.

138.5. Down a smidge. I took a 5 mg injection Thursday afternoon when we got home and I don't seem to be feeling it that much. I'm not starving but no inkling of nausea, food aversion or untoward fullness.

I have a training at church tomorrow (taking a character development class that delves into your life story - past hurts, successes etc. - and then sees how that has influenced your Faith journey and vice versa).

Leftover (from frozen) beef stew with biscuits for dinner. It never tastes as good after it has been frozen (potatoes and carrots get a little mushy) but it was an easy dinner to put together.

Monday I'm heading to the La Crosse area to see my Mom in the skilled nursing facility and will stay until Wednesday.

I thought those side-effects had subsided for you over time. I never had them other than not wanting sweets and carb-laden food (which I felt was a plus).
