Greetings all
We have sun! It's a great day. DH had an early dental appointment so I had the house and TV remote to myself this morning. Watched the awful fire news in LA. We have several family members in the area and they are safe. Texted with my brother who has a house in LA hills but he is fine and not in evacuation area. I worry because it is on one of those winding streets and people got stuck in gridlock. But he is a grown up and not stupid so I have to trust his judgement. LA is so huge it is hard to get a reference point on where everything is. I am a big fan of maps and good ones are hard to find. (blame gps)
So I went to the gym and did walking. The grunter has been replaced by a whistler. Slightly less annoying. After that I went to the studio and started a new wall hanging project. I have this idea but not sure if I can pull it off.
Meanwhile DH had another mission. He bought an adapter that will allow our electric cars to charge at Tesla super chargers. There is one such station about 5 miles away. So he wanted to see if it would actually work which it did. On our last trip we had a few issues with public charging stations (like the car would not let go of the charge plug) but this one worked well. Mission accomplished.
Liz I didn't think about your water aerobics being outside but of course it is. Hope it warms up for you.
Ditto CC. Or at least let the wind calm down. Creaky house in the wind really sets my dogs off. Hope Kirby is more calm. And yikes about the homicidal bed that killed the older lady!! Don't let it fold you into a won ton. I am sure it will be fabulous once you get it figured out.
So I called the eye surgeon office to see where on their immense waiting list I might be for cataract surgery. I am experiencing some issues of things seeming sort of grey and since I already live in Grey county, not good.
Tastee sandwiches again tonight. So easy.
We watched the rest of Virgin River last night. I needed an insulin shot. I told DH I needed something more snarky. But saying that, Baby Reindeer is not for everyone. It is the kind of show that I avoided on a Sunday night before a work Monday because it was disturbing and interrupted sleep.
Peps glad you are less stressed. Agreed on the dog paper thing; do nothing until the case is done. Years ago I heard a similar story involving someone I knew that pertained to a BIS dog. Skullduggery on a co ownership. Hope it goes away. Good news on the retirement stuff.
Not much else. Diane S
Ditto on Fisk.

Liz, you're brave getting in the pool for aerobics at any temp lower than 75! 40s is much too low, but 55 wouldn't do it for me either.
Cold here too: about 15 right now. We're all very excited because it might get into the high 20s tomorrow. Rumors of a few isolated places that could see 30. Our lack of snow is saving us. Temps would be much lower (with this nice fresh Arctic air Canada is sharing with us), if we had snow cover. Thankful for small mercies.
Nothing too exciting at school today. The kiddos were pretty mellow. Although some have been out for norovirus!!! I'm going through Clorox Wipes like Kleenex! I do not want norovirus. Current situation in Minnesota: 3 times the normal outbreaks reported.
Nothing else going on. No plans for the weekend yet.
Nope - no norovirus needed in your household. A friend seems to have the flu and her husband is wiping everything in the house down if she passes through the area and giving her a wide berth. No hugging go on there!
