Sounds like the Shark was almost beat again (I do remember that you have done so once in a while).
I know - the dinner planning is the last thing I want to think of these days. I'm okay keeping stuff in the house for breakfast and lunch, but I have to think hard about dinner. Hence lots of dinners out.

Greetings all
Sunny and warm today. Heat wave at 72. But I bet it's miserable inland. Heat is no joke.
Scrabble this morning. Won two but lost to the Shark but not by much. I did not get my Tuesday cheeseburger because there was no place to park. Not needed. I made hamburgers last night and will probably do the same tonight. Seems like in these later years I worry more about what to make for dinner. I used to have more stuff on hand and mac and cheese or other pasta was always an easy option. I used to always keep a brick of Velveta on hand! Talk about bad food.....
Stopped by the studio and made some owls. Must push myself as I am low on inventory. The studio is less busy in the summer as there is so much to do outside. In the winter rain its aways packed! Talked with one of our co owners about some finance stuff. Felt like a grown up for about 10 seconds.
DD enjoy SanDiego. So much stuff there. Great place.
I listened to an interview on NPR today with a comedian named Ian Karmel. He was an overweight child and adult until recently. He wrote a memoir called "The Tee Shirt Swimming Club". It sounded interesting and the interview was fun. He lost quite a bit of weight without surgery/ I remember some fat boys wearing t shirts in the pool because they were fat and sort of had boobs. I think my older brother did that. Anyway it reminded me of unpleasant feelings of being seen at the pool even though I loved it when I was swimming. He also is a comedy writer and it's a funny interview.
Liz gl on the house. You have made huge progress! Beach time earned.
CC good plan to do both bathrooms with architect. You are wise to get on a list fast. Good contractors are always busy. And congrats to Kirby on discovering sticks! What will he do when he figures out that they float!!

The San Diego Zoo was fantastic. We arrived around 10:30 am, and stayed until 8:30pm. We visited some exhibits twice. The animal behaviors can be quite different in the morning/early afternoon and in the evening. Even with such a long day, we didn't see it all.
I'm having a lot of trouble with my eating on this vacation. I'm not sure why I can't find my rhythm. Protein has been very sketchy, so I tried to eat some chicken this evening. I ended up vomiting on the way to the car. Chicken just does not work for me. Lesson learned again. And again.
Tomorrow I think will be a a harbor cruise. In the evening we will meet up with our niece and her husband for dinner.
You are making me want to visit San Diego. You guys really know how to execute a trip!
