Good Morning All, Starting the working week here today as yesterday was a holiday. We came home from the farm late Sunday night. Spent yesterday moving the furniture out of all our living areas. My sons came to help. DH and DS moved a ducted heating vent as well. Then DH patched the hole in the floor - we are ready for flooring. Also put in an extra downpipe as the back deck has been flooding. I mowed the back lawn which was not a popular decision for my knee. By 7.30pm last night we were both feeling very sore n tired. Dinner was eaten sitting on our bed as no furniture and sleep followed not long after. The floor guy starts at lunchtime. Im sitting on my bed with office phone and my tablet on a stable table. Thats my office for the next few days. Its going to be a crazy week indeed
Have made Bacon and Zuchinni slice for dinner tonight. Will serve with a salad. So thats a simple dinner. Not going to DSS and his family tonight as they are sick and I cant afford to catch anything this close to surgery. Will miss seeing them and cuddles but we will see them in Saturday night at DSD partners 30th birthday dinner.
Didnt weigh this morning. I will do tommorrow
I think thats about it for me. Will go back and read the posts I missed from the weekend in a moment but for now another cup of tea is in order.
Love to you all

I am bracing for a crazy week, all the corona virus hype, some warm weather (kids get spring fever), a full moon coming, the time change, spring break starts on the 19th, and Friday the 13th heading our way. They are Wound. Up. Bless their hearts :)
I too don't think we need to be panicking. It's probably good though, to think about what if scenarios, because natural disasters, disruptions to supply chains, etc can occur at any time. The thing that concerns me the most is coming into contact with someone who has corona virus, and then having to self quarantine in an inconvenient place or time.
Except when I read that they were suggesting that "older people" should start practicing social distancing and curtail activities in large groups. Like theater??!! Anyhow, the CDC is defining older as 60 and above. I nodded knowingly, yes, those old people, until I remembered DH is turning 60 in a month, and I'm almost 59. They don't mean me, do they?!! They expect me to stay home? My whole world shifted for a moment. For the record, I'm planning on going about my business, until there's a good reason not to.
My pre packaged food diet is still going well. It does take the guess work out of some of the planning. Almost back to the new low I saw last week, hope to break through to another New low by the end of the week.
Regarding coronavirus hype ... I used to make my living making predictions about complex situations and future events for very smart clients who paid me a lot of money to be right.
My predictions about COVID-19 and its effects are not sanguine. I won't post them here, but I might decide to suck it up and share them with you in our "private room."

Okay, more coronavirus talk. I just read about a priest in Washington D.C. who is diagnosed with coronavirus. He served communion and shook hands with 100s. These people are asked to quarantine, 15 days from their encounter with the priest. This is what I am afraid of currently. I would follow the quarantine request, it would be irresponsible not to. And now, after looking at mortality rates published by China, I am forced to reckon with the truth that I am in an age group that has a higher risk. The risk is still relative, after all I drive/ride in a car several times a day, and don't think, I need to stop this risky behavior. (Although I do mitigate risk as much as I can, seat belts, air bags, never drink and drive, obey traffic laws..) Not freaking out, but it becomes more and more unsettling.
IMHO, I think that older people are higher risk because they are more likely to have other conditions that make them more susceptible to more serious illness (diagnosed or not). I don't think age is inherently the issue. Think of how many people who are over 60 who have diabetes, lung conditions, immune disorders, cancer, etc.
