8 hours sleep night before last and 5 hrs last night to make up for it. Eating has gone of the rails with company here. Why do we think that we need to buy special foods and treats for company? They struggle with their weight too. We could all eat clean.
Getting ready to mow early this morning. And then back home to work on a sawmill shed. If we have time and material maybe a lean to shed for the mower.
Adalyn is try to form more words. It is fascinating to watch a child s development. I wish I had slowed down enough to watch as my own children were growing and absorbing new things.
DW picked 2 tomatoes out of our raised beds. We have tons of cucumbers still growing and an amazing amount of spaghetti squash and butternut squash. We are learning how to put it up for the winter.
have a great Saturday and for those of you traveling, safe travels.

Had a fabulous 64th birthday with DD and DSiL here in Vancouver. Was up early, getting my bearings and stocking the kitchen. Whole Foods had great "school lunch" packs that will last me two meals ! Sushi dinner in Kits last night, then instead of fried ice cream, we walked to Jericho beach and captured Vancouver as the sun began to set. 18,873 steps yesterday. Today is the suspension bridge !

Isn't it amazing how fast the little ones grow and change? There is a country song about that which always makes me wish I savored those times and others in the past more (You're Gonna Miss This by Trace Atkins).
The MOLST form is completed - I guess I'm relieved. I had a great conversation with DS last night about the advantages of his Dad going into Memory Care and he agreed that around October 1 would be a good date. That's definitely a relief!
Kind of cloudy and humid today, so DH, Justice and I may take a walk by the water.
Have a satisfying Saturday!
