Greetings Peeps Peps Pups and Ann
156 today. Rats. and I was pretty active yesterday.
Ann so good to have you back. Hope you get some rest and water and have time to reflect on your adventures and thoughts. Must be hard to go to lots of social things without your DH. But you will rejuvenate in the Missouri spring with deer, walks and yoga.
Scrabble today. I was hoping it would be overcast so we could be inside with a fire. Got my wish. I got killed in the games but oh well.
Nice tree pic Shel. I bet those trail workers were the CCC kids. A good way for kids out of high school to get started in the world if they don't have college or other options. I have visited their camps and they are nice.
After Scrabble I ventured forth to Costco since its not that much farther. Got in and out pretty quickly. Got DH some of their shrimp which he likes. He has been kind of down in the dumps lately. I think current politics really gets to him.
Anybody watch "The Crown"? Looks interesting to me and I am always seeking series that do not include exploding aliens.
Peps, that Bacall is a doll. What showy little critter. Hope to meet her some day.
Diane S
Thanks, Diane. Good to be back. I loved "The Crown." The next season will see a change in cast, however, as Queen Elizabeth ages. Should be equally good.
ANN 5'5", AGE 74, HW 235.6 (BMI 39.2), SW 216, GW 150, CW 132, BMI 22
POUNDS LOST: Pre-op -20, M1 -10, M2 -11, M3 -10, M4 -10, M5 -7, M6 -5, M7 -6, M8 -4, M9 -4,
NEXT 10 MOS. -12, TOTAL -100 LBS.
Diane, I also thought Claire Foy was perfect as the young Elizabeth. And I'm betting that the "new" Elizabeth -- Olivia Colman, who just won the Best Actress Oscar for "The Favourite," -- will fill Foy's shoes nicely. :)
Going forward, Princess Margaret will now be played by Helena Bonham-Carter.
This is not going to suck! :)

DAY2 of Spring Break... Had a most horrid dream about being hours late for school and not having notified my principal or office manager (aka school secretary). Dream continued with me being rather nonchalant about high tailing it to school. Suddenly it was around 1:00 pm, I was in my car and heard glass shatter. The shattering glass woke me, but it was part of the dream. The dogs were silent, so I decided to relax into a slow wake up, which I did. Interesting anxiety dream. Sigh....
I have groomed 8 dogs from Saturday through today. Only 4 more this week, plus my own prior to our regional specialty weekend April 11-14. I had scheduled more free time in my week, but I'm such a sucker for a few of my clients. Don't know why I added the dogs in this week, but I did. Another sigh....LOL
Got Ace and Liza to the vet for physicals, baseline bloodwork, canine influenza boosters, bordatella boosters, and flea and heart worm preventatives today. One more chore off the vacation list! Then it was off to the gym for a leg and cardio workout. I hate legs and cardio. Truly I do. I don't mind simple weight busting work with my legs, but I never do that. It's much better to do combination moves with cardio, so that's what I do, but I still HATE them.... I must not truly hate them, but it sure feels like it sometimes.
Little Bacall was my Facebook April Fools joke. She did come to the house. I did teach her some show moves. I did fall absolutely in love with the puppy and I will be showing her later this month. I just let my post infer that she was my new puppy, but I never said it. LOL! Anyhow, I got a few people pretty good. My dear friend and mentor in dogs who now lives in Kansas City, MO called me and as soon as I answered said, "Are you *** ING kidding me? A Doberman puppy? What the Hell are you thinking?" He did agree she was gorgeous before Ron and I yelled April Fools into the phone!
I had a "fat" day. Most of it had to do with seeing the photos of me with Bacall. Truth sucks sometimes. Oh, well... A picture is worth a thousand words or some such analogy.... I need to spend a little effort on my pre detox work tonight. Tomorrow holds another grooming, doing the bills, and seeing about finish up taxes. Oh, property taxes are due in a few days, too. Better get that paid, tomorrow, too! Damn! If Spring Break weren't in April, I don't think I would like April very much at all!
What a delight to see Ann's post today! Welcome home, dear Ann! So, so nice to have you back.
