Still eating well and getting lots of exercise and staying the same weight. Oh well. I went to the trainer today and I'm so pleased to be able to do so much more than when I started. Today I did situps throwing a 5 pound ball from over my head to my trainer. Granted she had to stand on my feet, but I struggled so much with even doing one when I first started, then a few even a few weeks ago. Today I did 20 and could have done more. Yay!
I leave for Pilates in a few minutes. I think it'll be better to go after the gym rather than before. After I'm going to rip down the Christmas tree so I'm not embarrassed about it still being up when the cleaning people come tomorrow. If nothing else, they are incentive to not live like I was raised by wolves!
Peps, I get the mirror issue. I'm glad there aren't any in my gym except for one tiny area we don't use. Knowing me, I wouldn't feel as good about what I'm doing if I had to watch myself do it. My own very worst critic. I guess since it's all trainers/clients they just have the trainers watch for form.
Tomorrow I've got the therapist, another night hike, and a gyn appt to check the IUD placement.
Night all!
Sit-ups-what are those? On the other hand, I am totally confident that I can do a full 50% of as many push-ups you may number (that is to say, I can do the down-stroke half of them- the UP-stroke half is another story!). Seriously-Cecile, your work on core strengthening is impressive! You go, girl!

Good evening!
I am inspired to post by Bigfoot. Does he take down Christmas trees beside rake the forest? Those seem like related tasks.
I haven't read the posts as deeply as I would like to, yet. DianeS, hope your guy (the non-sasquatch) is feeling better.
I'm not the child of an alcoholic....I forgot the cool initials. I also wasn't thrust into a parental role at an early age. Turned out obese anyway. I have no excuse tho I'm going with gut microbiome being screwed up.
All is going ok here. I did embarrass DD thru emails to others as we worked thru the logistics of her attendance at an honors orchestra. The finer details don't matter, we are both finding our way as she launches as an adult. The girl is relentless which will serve her well in life.
Cecily, did I see evening hike???? I need to go back and look at your posts! I did see you had crazy fast hike again....I am hoping that by the end of all this training that I can move faster!!!!! You are very, very impressive.
B150, glad to see you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, y'all are inspiring me to sign up for some NOLA hiking meetups, although I can't imagine we'll find any elevation gain around here.
