150, can't be because of calories which were 979 yesterday. Must have been the IVs in the ER and/or the stress hormones kicking in!
Napping on the agenda today. I've only had about 9 hours of sleep the last 2 nights combined and those were not solid hours.
My Dad's surgery was quite complicated. Infection/gangrene in the biliary tract where a large stone had probably been stuck for years. Something adhered to the liver and surgeon wasn't able to get everything out but thought it would be okay. His heart rate also became too elevated and he was send to cardiac floor instead of regular med/surg. I started looking at booking flights in the middle of the night but things seem better today, so I will stay put for now.
As David says, more later!
I almost commented yesterday that at least gallbladder surgeries are relatively simple. How wrong that thought was. Prayers for him and all.

Yesterday I got two big things done -- made the decision to join my friends on a cruise in July and finished and submitted my husband's obituary to the newspaper. The weather was beautiful yesterday, and I had a lovely walk in the country.
This morning I feel better, thanks to finishing yesterday's decisions/tasks and sleeping well for 7 hours. This morning I went to yoga, grocery shopped, and took my husband's truck to the Toyota dealership to be serviced. There I had to tell a guy who works at the dealership that DH had died, and he almost burst into tears. "He was such a good man," the guy kept repeating. Turns out, he and my husband had really connected (both were ex-police officers) and were friends.
I can imagine that if the situation were reversed and I had died, my husband wouldn't have known which of my acquaintances I was closer to than others.
Today's theme is the same as yesterday's: Be still.
P.S. Boy, there's a lot going on with y'all. Hugs to every single one of you.
P.P.S. Maine sounds amazing!

Today my friend and I went to the local senior center for lunch as we're considering volunteering as servers once a week in the "restaurant" there. We sat with a lovely Persian lady who's husband had been a general in the Shah's army before they had to flee Iran (she was a high school teacher). She was giving us the scoop on everyone there. They serve 125 people a day. Seems like a good volunteering opportunity.
Tonight I'm headed to dinner and the symphony with a friend. Should be nice. Last time I went with her I recall being uncomfortable in the seats since I was much heavier. It'll be good to be smaller!
Last night I had a refried bean/chicken/cheese/salsa concoction that was really tasty except for the fact that on the first bite I burned the hell out of the roof of my mouth. The beans stuck to me like hot, molten lava that I couldn't get off. The front 1/2 of my palate blistered immediately and today is sore and peeling. Ouch! The lesson? Cool your beans, people.
Here's a photo of my painting from last night. Could be worse as it's only my 3rd painting ever!
