Weight ? (BIL in scale room), calories 922. I have 3 more work weeks - hard to believe it is coming!

DH and I went to a LanternFest last night. It was amazing! Over 5000 lit pumpkins including both carved and painted pumpkins. And a few of the carved ones were massive! A couple of pictures below.

In trying to organize my pictures this morning I stumbled on screen shots of signatures in OH taken just after my surgery. They were of individuals who seemed to be about my height but were at goal (to get an idea of how long it would take to get there). Two of the signatures were Paula and Ocean! So thank you for the early inspiration!

Have a magnanimous Monday!

I'm baaaack! The extremely short version of the 50th college reunion is that it was SO worth the effort everyone made to go back for it. That kind of reunion is about the closest one can get to time travel. I'll download more later, but don't have the time right now.

Somehow (have no idea how!), my weight is the same this morning as when I left. Over the weekend, my veggies and fruits sucked. I didn't overeat, and even missed a couple of meals (it's hard to eat when you're talking non-stop), but definitely had more mystery food at reunion functions. I relied on Egg McMuffins during long drives.

This morning at 8:30 we'll see hubby's oncologist and make a decision about where to go for the more specific diagnosis before treatment. I may (?) go to the pool for the late-morning aquarobics class after we see the doctor. Depends on how hubby's doing at that point.

Today's theme: Breathe.

149.4 - up a tad.

Planning a Spring Break vacation the last week and a half in March. Will spend the first half in NYC and the second half in Boston. Liz (or anyone else in the know), any can't miss activities we should be doing in Boston?

Work today and then football banquet tonight. New territory for us as this is our first sports kid. I think they will just have awards and light snacks. Eagle ceremony for one of my scouts was nice yesterday. Wish my boys had the gumption to get to that level. There is still hope for DS#3.

Off to make my bowl of yogurt and berries for lunch at work today! Such a creature of habit!

Only in the city of Boston itself? Let me know your parameters and I'll send you some thoughts.

My DS did make it to Eagle but just in time. He loved scouts but backed out for a while after that when he came out (due to the then unfriendly gay policies). I hope he'll get involved again when his life gets less busy (but who knows when that will happen).

We have also considered doing a ferry trip to Cape Cod or Martha's Vineyard for a day. Won't have a rental car.

I love both cities! I know Liz will give you great ideas....so much history everywhere! We stayed downtown -- very walkable plus lots of transportation options for tours.

I feel like my stomach is stretching. Duh? But I'll wake up feeling like I have a stomach ache/lump. I'm not sure if when I had my tummy tuck she sewed my muscles together. Because I think I remember her saying that was unnecessary since I hadn't had kids. But idk. Regardless, stretching feeling in my ab muscles.

This weekend was supposed to be restful...which of course it was not! Last night we hosted a movie night and I served maple-brined grilled chicken with apple chutney, salad with roasted butternut squash, dried cherries, and maple balsamic vinaigrette, savory bacon and leek bread pudding, and caramel apple cheesecake for dessert. I kept to my small portions so I don't feel bad about it! But I definitely overdid. I was falling asleep during the movie! I really enjoy testing out some Thanksgiving-type fall recipes because our Thanksgiving menu pretty much has to be the same every year because no one wants to give up their favorite! So this satisfied that experimental urge in me :)

Whether your muscles were tightened or not, they will need to stretch for your little one to grow!
