Daily Maintenance Weigh-In- Saturday, April 26, 2014
147.2 Going to be a beautiful day in SEKansas, with a chance of strong winds, thunderstorms, hail and tornadoes tomorrow. Spring keeps ya' guessing around here. Better go down to the basement and dust off my favorite spot. I've about given up on hubby and sons- first sign of bad weather, and they're out on the porch or deck "checking it out". The dog has more sence!

TOTAL POUNDS LOST- 200 (110 pounds lost before surgery, 90 pounds lost Post Op.diabetes in remission-blood pressure normal-cholesterol and triglyceride levels normal! BMI from 55.6 supermorbidly obese to 23.6 normal!!!!

100.6 lbs. It's really beautiful in SF today. I'm definitely going for a ride later, then some climbing tomorrow.

I live in a cool old 1920's Craftsman farmhouse on a Kansas "hill" ( translate incline), just east of two creeks/rivers. Never been hit by a tornado. Supposedly, the combination of the water and the hill sends the tornadoes to the north or the south of us. Actually, I think there is something to it. Since we've been here, well, once, there was one that came up the road, hit the water, (about 1 1/4 mile away), split into two--one tornado went north, one went south.....Still--Shoot, if the warnings go off..what's a basement for?

Thanks Linda! Yes, I feel better and better about maneuvering it around, particularly on twisties. It's still really hard work to park it on a grade tho (a reverse gear would have been nice - LOL!).
I've decided to sell my other scooter (the one I learned to ride on) to start a motorcycle fund. I'm not sure if motorcycling is for me (it's possible I'm not as badass as you :-) but I sure would like to find out!
I wish you lots of good riding weather over the next few months! Enjoy that lovely purple Bonneville!

146.0 - that's about right. Clean eating started yesterday, so this number should go down.
I know how you feel with the weather. I just replenished out emergency kit in the basement. We're ready for tornado season.
Beautiful day here, too. But, it is supposed to turn this evening. I've got some outdoor work that needs to be done before the weather comes in.
